Enjoyed a great 2 night stay with my partner for a weekend away. The bedroom was of a decent size for London, excellent furnishings & a large bathroom. I'd asked for a quiet upper floor room when I booked & this is what we got. I had checked in online a couple of days before & the room was fortunately...

this is an excellent hotel in regard to the cleanliness, the personel and the rooms. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated, modern style. they look even better than the photos on their site. the only negative comment i have is about the breakfast. they have 2 options: cold continental breakfast that is included in the room price on the...

Stayed on business, was originally given a very large disabled friendly room, however the sink was too low and bathroom totaly not right for an able bodied person. The staff moved me with no fuss whilst I was out at a meeting and it was all fine. Rooms clean, shower powerful and bed comfy. The breakfast was normal buffet style...

My partner booked this hotel to celebrate my 50th birthday and asked for a special room. We were allocated an executive double which wasn't special at all so we asked for something different and we're given apartment 4 which was lovely. It had a small kitchen so making a snack was easy. Ordered lots of champagne which we collected from...

My first time at this brand of hotel... booked by work. The setting is very nice, in a peaceful square overlooking some nice gardens. The building itself was lovely. The check-in process was pleasant - the open areas well appointed. The lifts were prompt and the room was very nice. Good quality furnishings, not a bad size for London, had...

Two night B&B stay - after a problem at check-in, I was very pleased with my well equipped room and the lovely breakfasts - I also enjoyed seeing the beautiful Magnolia tree in full bloom as I came and went through the courtyard!!

Lovely hotel. Very nice, clean, good sized bedrooms with clean and well maintained bathrooms. Wifi is free. I arrived late and check in by the night receptionist was very fast and professionally done. I didn't have breakfast or use the restaurants. All in all a good value overnight stay in central London.

We wanted a hotel convenient to Victora Station and Tate Britain and could not have picked a better one. This hotel fronts Vincent Square a hidden oasis in the area which is the playing fields for Westminster School and is enormous. It is quiet and discrete. We stayed for one night and our room was on the ground floor and...

My local London client booked this property for me for a 3 night stay. I've never stayed at any Grange before. It was not only convenient to the office (2 blocks away), I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was. The English breakfast was included, and was delicious. Good coffee! Convenient in-room minibar and coffee was a nice touch....

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
