We booked the room for 2 nights over new year; we were sceptical because we managed to book late for a reasonable price given the dates we wanted. The area of Shadwell was quite visibly a very deprived area, so when we stepped out of the train station, we imagined the worst. The area is largely ethnic minority communities and...

This is my third stay. I had a larger room, on the ground floor and quiet (although you do get airport planes above) and was impressed with a very clean, modern, well laid out bathroom. The staff here are always welcoming and professional. Breakfast is fine, if you just want to start the day with a light and fairly healthy...

The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff were very warm. The breakfast indeed a complete one. But the rooms were very small, 7-8 square meter. Also the refrigerator was very small. Also the location of the hotel was very close to public transportation.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff were very warm, and the breakfast was really a complete one. The only bad point was the area of rooms which was very small. around 7-8 square meter. Also the refrigerator was very small.

Stayed there on Friday. Needed somewhere close to my daughter in Shadwell, this was the cheapest & nearest. I was not disappointed. Great value for money. Stayed in a small double & it was plenty big enough for me & my husband. Very clean & comfortable. Friendly staff. Breakfast is mainly continental & enough variety for everyone. Very close to...

I stayed in a single room, and while it was small, it had a decent shower, a TV, was reasonably quiet and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and the price was quite reasonable for London.

I have booked this hotel for my parents on numerous occasions over the years. Every single time without exception all the staff have been so helpful and really made my parents feel welcome. They have always done everything they can to accommodate our requests (ground floor room etc). We would stay anywhere else and can't this recommend this place highly...

I stayed for 2 nights for business. It was convenient for nearby Bishopsgate & City. The room was number 10 on the ground floor by reception. No issues with noise. Very clean room with coffee making bits. Good bathroom with great shower. I was nicely surprised at how clean and comfortable it was. Breakfast was good with selection of fruit,...

Very helpful, friendly staff. Squeaky clean room, comfortable beds, decent breakfast, excellent value for money. Walls are a bit thin, one night I could hear my neighbours talking which kept me awake a while, but nothing terrible. Perfect for access to the Tobacco Dock and Shadwell Station, just a few minutes walk.

We've been in London for 3 days. The hotel is cozy and clean, located in a very quiet area close to the DLR. Don't expect nothing special but they serve a decent breakfast, the location is perfect and the staff is attentive and efficient. Definitely a good value for money.

“Well, room 10 is great.. maybe as its small hotel, each new review could give their room number.. That would really help when booking.”
