Stayed for 3 nights in a family room 13-16 March. Friendly welcoming and helpful staff complemented the clean and comfortable room in a lovely quiet hotel. 5 minutes walk from Victoria Station so perfect location for exploring central London. Room was a good size, spotless, comfy beds, tea/coffee making facilities replenished daily, hairdryer, tv and great wifi. Great shower in...

Couldn't fault it for the price. Clean quiet room, polite friendly staff and a decent breakfast too. Ok the room is very small, and there is no air-con (which means no hums which to us is a real bonus) but the bed was comfy, the shower worked well, no annoying street noise, the reception personnel were helpful and the ambience...

Central London hotels are generally expensive and of variable quality. OK, this is not a five star hotel, but why pay for five star treatment when all that one really needs is somewhere to sleep for the night. My room was just fine, very well presented, the shower was indeed good, breakfast was included, it was amazingly quiet, it is...

Just stayed at this hotel from 3rd March 2017 with my two friends for a 3 night stay. This hotel offers everything you need for a short stay, we stayed in a triple room which is actually featured in the photographs on this website, it consisted on en suite bathroom and 1 x single bed and an extra large double...

Really comfy bed and a really clean room. Good hairdryer (not one of the usual hotel hairdryers but one that actually works). Good location near to Victoria station and lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance (including the amazing Thai Cafe). On the downside the room was small- I struggled to find room to open my suitcase apart from...

Ideally located, just a short walk from Victoria Station, Buckingham Palace, Tate Britain, River Thames and Westminster, this is a budget hotel. But make no mistake, the Lidos is well above average. Yes, the room we had was small and no, we wouldn't have wanted an extended stay, but for a short break, this hotel has everything. And, it's spotlessly...

Good to stay here again. Set in "hotel land" this is a small but comfortable hotel,5 minutes from Pimlico tube and ten minutes by taxi from Westminster and Victoria/Buckingham palace. Rooms comfortable (but no serious desk space to work), shower rooms a bit small, staff friendly and the breakfast is basic (toast, croissants and yogurt) but it tastes nice and...

Great location, close to lots of popular sights and a short walk from the tube. Big compliments to Mr Beig on reception who could not have been more helpful. My single room was small but perfectly formed with absolutely everything you would hope for, and all looked recently refurbished. nice continental breakfast.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
