Having an Indian afternoon tea was something different to try and we are so pleased we did. The sandwiches were very fresh and the fillings all had just a hint of spice. From the expected Coronation Chicken to the unexpected Potato and Green Chutney. Then a chicken wrap that was spicy and warm. Followed by Indian nibbles by way of samosas and pakoras and Indian desserts. All washed down with bubbles. Our waiter was attentive but not overly so. We will definitely be back.
Park Grand London Lancaster Gate was perfect. Club room was good size with all the amenities. Room was spotless, customer service was outstanding. Breakfast was plentiful and wonderful variety. Very accommodating hotel.
We have been there for an afternoon tea. Even though we messed up the reservation they have been so helpful to find a solution for us. The afternoon tea was lovely. Absolutely lovely. The different food offered was tasteful. The service was nice.
My daughter and I recently visited the Park Grand Hotel for an afternoon tea with prosecco and had a lovely experience. The food was lovely and the staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble and in my opinion this really made our experience stand out from other hotels we have visited. We had a very enjoyable time and will definitely return.
Very impressed with this hotel. Customer service was top marks. Warm welcome and staff very friendly. We stayed only for one night in a 3 persons accommodation . Plenty of room for the 3 of us. Accommodation clean. Bathroom with shower and freshly washed towels . Beds were comfortable so slept well and with the hot weather a welcome air con . It was a treat for my nieces birthday and knowing this she received a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates on arrival . The breakfast was very good , full breakfast and continental was offered . Wouldn’t hesitate to return and after seeing the afternoon teas being served on leaving we will be back to sample that too. Well done.
Enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea at this hotel. The staff were all so friendly, the food was so delicious and fresh and the atmosphere great. They even brought out a surprise cake for my boyfriend for his birthday. I would definitely return.
Fabulous afternoon tea - friendly staff especially Uzma - scones are amazing & chocolate mousse pretty good too, great value for money, enjoyed exploring the area around the hotel as well Would recommend defiantly - easy to use the Wowcher also
The presentation was spot on. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were delicious and the prosecco was faultless. The waiters were forever helpful polite and considerate. All in all a smashing afternoon!!!
Stayed here for 5 nights The staff on arrival where so lovely and helpful Aerfan helped us with our luggage and Zebbe was so helpful when I asked for my sister to have a room with a window ,we had little chocolates on the pillow and a pen ,in the morning there was always free pastries 🍰n🍰and coffee ☕️☕️down stairs, the room had everything you needed and great beds slept like a log.❤️❤️❤️ The staff went out there way to provide everything and anything you needed.10/10 for service and hospitality. I Would Highly recommend staying here you have a 5min walk to Paddington Station and just up the road thete is a fantastic restaurant Bizzarro.and Lemaenas cafe just around the corner on craven st. I would definitely stay here again.
We chose this hotel as it was close to Hyde park and we were going to see Adele. We arrived late on a Friday night to check in and the staff were friendly and checked us in quickly. Our room was downstairs- it was an unusual set up! There’s a door in the side of a staircase which led straight down into some steep steps. There were a number of rooms down there but it felt a little dark and out the way. The room was lovely. Clean, modern and the bathroom was great too. However when we woke up on the Saturday morning there was a strong smell of smoke and people talking loudly next to a window in the room. It turns out we were next to the maintenance area. My husband went to speak to the staff at reception to ask if we could move rooms but there were none available. They said they’d talk to the maintenance people about this issue and offered us complimentary breakfast for the 2 mornings. We went that morning for breakfast and although there were a number of tables free the staff were extremely busy and it took a good 15 minutes to get seated. The breakfast was nice. The following morning the same thing happened with people outside the window of the room talking extremely loudly again and making lots of noise which woke us. So we decided to pack and leave then which was a shame. We did inform the staff at reception again but they weren’t so bothered this time and just stated that we’d been offered breakfast because of this issue. The hotel is in a good, convenient location and the rooms are nice and modern. There were complimentary pastries, cakes and drinks in the reception area throughout the day which was also nice. We may stay again in the future but would request not to have a room in the basement!…
