My friends and I have just returned from a short London Trip, and this was our choice of hotel from reading reviews on 'Trip Advisor'. We were NOT disappointed. Our main priority was cleanliness and value for money - the hotel excelled in both areas....More
After extensive research on affordable hotels in London, I came to the conclusion this is the best value in the city, and booked accordingly. Because we were staying for a full week, we received 6 nights for the price of 5, apparently a common practice...More
I really liked this hotel. It's not too far away from Victoria mainline/tube station and very handy for getting in/out of London due to the Victoria Coach Station being so near. The hotel is really in the Pimlico end of Vicoria but that shouldn't pose...More
My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights at Luna & Simone in early Feb '08 and the hotel was perfect for our needs.
We were on a budget so to find a well-thought of hotel at this price (£75 per night for double room) and...More
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and
some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.

You can call ahead so they will be there to pick you up upon arrival and when you leave let them know what time your flight is and they will get you to your departure terminal.

We stayed in early July and the weather was fine. But it's hard to predict what it will be like for you. The rooms that we had both had ceiling fans and the windows did open. You may wish to ask for a room in the back of the hotel to minimize any street noises in the event that you open your window. Also, I'd suggest a room that is on one of the lower floors because they do not have elevators. As for safety during the evening, we were a family of 4 with a 17 yr old boy and 13 yr old girl. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. It is in a nice residential part of town so there were people going about their daily business quite a bit. Nice street and well lit at night time. Extremely easy public transportation right outside the door and/or taxis were easily accessible.
