we stayed here june 18-20th and it was very nice place to use as a starting point for our days of exploring london. close to victoria station and even closer to the Pimlico station. The rooms were VERY small, but it looks like that's common for mid-range hotels in London. we also tired of the stairs after a long day...

Luna & Simone is a nice hotel in a lovely area of London. I doubt you could find any hotel in London this nice for the price. The area is safe and clean and easy to connect to all of London through two nearby subway stations and the bus which stops out front is an even easier way to travel....

Our stay at the Luna & Simone was a great experience. The room was a triple which had 3 single beds. There was plenty of room for the three of us to navigate around each other without being too cramped. The bathroom was small but completely updated and really very nice. The room had a fan but no A/C. It's...

London is expensive, but this hotel is a good, clean place to stay in a nice neighborhood. Fairly convenient to the train and the Tube (but we still recommend staying in Bath and taking the train to London rather than the bother and expense of staying in London). Room was a bit tight by US standards, but then again, that's...

On the bus route You have everything, from Victoria and Westminster to Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square etc... Room was very small but exceptionally clean and the staff was very helpful. Bathroom was practically new and very clean. My girlfriend...

My wife and I stayed at the Luna & Simone hotel in room 9 (in the building to the right, as one faces the front desk), which had a double bed and private bath (“en suite” by their terminology), for nine nights, starting Wednesday, April 19, 2007. The cost was 80 pounds (British currency) per night. This was a good...

Paul and Bernard run an excellent little hotel!! They are like your favorite uncles--joking with the guests while efficiently serving breakfast. Five of us stayed three nights in a double and the triple room. The triple room is quite large and on the lower level which made it very quiet. It overlooks a sweet courtyard. As others have posted, the...

Our family of five including two teenagers spent one night at the Luna and Simone in transit through London back to the United States. It was exceptionally convenient and only a ten minute walk to Victoria Station and the Gatwick Epxress. The beds were a bit hard, but the rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff was truly friendly in...

Our family of four just returned from London via Gatwick airport and we stayed our last night at the Luna &Simone hotel. It was a simple walk from the hotel to Victoria staton to catch the Gatwick Express which saved us time and lots of money and anxiety getting to the airport. The hotel had lovely rooms at a good...

Good location near Victoria Station, resturants, and bus lines. Liked the full breakfast that came with the room. Also the free computer station to get internet was nice. Very friendly, helpful staff. The room was small but didn't spend much time in it - and it was quiet.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
