We spent 3 nights at the Blades and got a very warm welcome and they are very helpfull! The room was very clean and big enough for 4 persons. Coffee and tea available in the room. Soap and stuff also available and fresh towels. No noise, good bed&shower what's important 2 us. We also had a balcony so we could...

We needed a hotel for one night between visits with relatives and didn't want to spend a lot of money on amenities we weren't going to use. I chose Blades based on price, reviews and location. For what we paid, we were more than pleasantly surprised. The entrance is cozy and inviting. Our room was extremely clean, reasonably decorated and...

We recently spent a week at the Blades. We didn't want to stay at a large chain hotel, but rather something historic and in a residential area, and we certainly found it with Blades. We stayed in room 1, their largest. We're a family of four, two adults, two teens, and we had plenty of room for all of our...

A budget hotel that provides good value for money and a very warm welcome. On arrival we were ‘upgraded’ to No. 4 – a “larger room with a balcony” overlooking the Belgrave Road. The room, with a small en-suite shower/toilet, was still just big enough for the two of us and was in need of redecoration. However, it is clear...

We are very pleased with the friendly staff of this hotel and they have exceeded our expectations of the quality service on this (small budget) hotel. The rooms were clean, large enough (we were with 5) and the hotel is close to many things.

Very happy stay here overnight. Staff very accommodating and full of helpful information. Clean rooms and simple but plentiful breakfast. Several restaurants a short walk from the hotel. Shall definitely use this hotel again and also recommend it to friends.

Very friendly staff welcomed us to the hotel, providing us with a map and information relevant to places we wished to visit. We had booked a twin room and were given a room with a double and two twin beds, there was a small en suite bathroom with toiletries supplied. As indicated there was tea and coffee making facilities, as...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
