From arrival to departure we experienced a seamless experience. We had an excellent full windowed south facing room with a balcony (it was extra but well worth it). The position within a quiet courtyard has its advantages in London as it located within its own peaceful little zone. The other side of the building takes you straight onto Fleet St....

Lovely hotel in perfect location behind Fleet Street. Very quiet day and night. Compared to other London hotels Apex are very good value . Rooms are spotless, comfy and well appointed and some have great views. This was my 5th stay at Temple Court and each one has been excellent.

Absolutely stunning hotel . Faultless everything was outstanding . The Staff were so friendly and efficient,The room was asolutely beautiful I requested a first floor room which was allocated with no fuss at all. Nothing was too much trouble. I really can't recommend it high enough. It's by far the very best hotel we have ever stayed in in London.

My four nights at this hotel passed quickly, allowing me ease of access to the financial and legal areas, and lots of fantastic sights of the city. Lots of fun, as my son works nearby, and a group of friends were staying at the same time for the Chelsea Flower Show

We have stayed at Apex Hotels in London before--we find the rooms to be wonderful and the weekend prices great. But this past week, my husband and I stayed at Temple Court on Fleet Street. Again, great room. I had made the reservation months ago, so when we checked in and were told we had paid for breakfast along with...

Would highly recommend this hotel for a variety of reasons. The location is very central to all tourist attractions. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern with excellent high speed internet. The bathroom was equally spacious with tub, shower and plenty of storage. Our room was on the 4th floor facing the courtyard and was absolutely quiet. And such a...

I've stayed at this hotel close to 50 times now for work. To date everything has been spot on. No complaints, although perhaps the bar could be cheaper! Food is always good. Staff always friendly and rooms are comfy and spotlessly clean.

Looked this hotel up and it's on the expensive side but seeing my room and the view I know understand why. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in Fleet St or nearby. Recently I stayed at the Rosewood in Holborn which was more expensive. Apex wins by a mile!

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding nearby and got a special room rate. The customer service was excellent and we were really pleased with our room - good size, modern and clean, lovely bathroom, huge comfy bed and great amenities - free wifi and sky tv. My only criticisms would be the room was too warm at night...

Room was spacious comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious with waiter service! We had a long wait for our dinner due to a party which had pre-ordered but when it arrived it was excellent. We had a pot of tea in the afternoon in the lounge and I did feel if a choice of cakes or biscuits had been offered...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
