I like the hotel for its location, and it works overall. Reception staff exceptionally unfriendly of late, however; and worst of all the room was freezing cold ( entirely unheated) upon arrival. No fun on a business trip when you work on your laptop with sour coat on.

Our fifth weekend break at Apex Temple Court in the past two years. Perfect, yet again. We love the rooms (upgraded to a master suite this time - thank you!), the most comfortable bed anywhere, the large bathroom, the fast wi-fi, the Nespresso machine, the Midday check out. Then there are the truly friendly and efficient staff. We love the... More

This was a return visit to the Apex Temple Court and it lived up to the high expectations set by the previous trip. The service is professional, quietly attentive and delivered with a sense of care. At breakfast there was a good selection - continental and al a carte - with a calm, upbeat ambience in the restaurant.

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
