I stayed here overnight as I was watching a concert at the o2. Welcoming, friendly staff. Comfy room and bed. Walking distance to McDonalds and a 20 minute walk to the o2. Would definitely stay here again, brilliant price for the hotel room. Really happy!!!

Took our daughter to university in Greenwich and stayed here over night. It's about a 20 minute walk into Greenwich. The downstairs is a proper London pub, pool table and all. The staff are very friendly. There is a separate entrance for residents. Some rooms share a toilet but we had an en suite on the top floor. Very close... More

The staff were very welcoming and we felt comfortable being there, as soon as we got there . Rooms were comfortable. Would recommended this hotel to others. O2 arena is roughly a 20 minute walk away. A high street and shops also within walking distance .

Stopped here for one night was a lovely place. Bit far from centre of London but train station was 2 mins away. Friendly staff on arrival. Bit noisy as our room was located on front and heard pipping cars alot. Room was quite modern and adequate for our needs would recommend it if u want to be away from centre... More

My partner and I were visiting London and needed to stay in Greenwich. We arrived later than planned but the staff were very accomodating and friendly. We had a double room which was comfortable and nicely decorated. Nice clean bathroom with a great shower which is rare! The location is great, only a short walk to the O2 and North... More

Thank you so much for your review. Sorry about the light situation it happens sometimes. We are on a noisy road and being an old building we have no lift so its not ideal for everyone . Even though we hope we see you again Regards Angerstein hotel More

Hotel is very basic and set above a pub on the Woolwich Road.adjacent to the busy A102 flyover (Blackwall Tunnel Approach). The room was clean and functional and it was reasonably priced (£90 for a double room without breakfast on a Saturday night). The O2 can be reached by taking the #129 bus from across the road from the hotel... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
