Hotel jaded but clean and in a central spot. Service great. Breakfast extra and adequate. Lack of free wifi (only free for 30 mins a day!) and issue for me. A real noise issue in rooms overlooking road.

Had a great weekend in London, this hotel is spot on for what we expected. We paid £170 for 3 nights accommodation which I don't think you can complain at at all! The rooms we're clean, bathroom small but again clean. Nice comfy bed as well. Some of the furniture is a bit shabby but hardly the end of the world. there...

Husband and I stayed for one night on a Friday. Room was clean, smelt fresh and as always the bed was very comfortable, its also nice and dark and we weren't bothered by outside noise. As we were heading out for the evening our lift stopped working and we were stuck in it for 30 minutes until an engineer arrived,...

We stayed here as we needed to get an early train in the morning. It was very good, better than expected for travel lodge and a good price for London. Our double room was of reasonable size and there was tea/coffee making facilities. Shower and bathroom were clean. The reception and bar area were nice and the staff friendly and...

Rooms have disused electrical equipment just left in the rooms. TV not working. The lift area is like a service area. Very small room with minute bathroom. Does not match up to other travelodges that I have stayed at

I don't expect much from the travelodge brand but I expect it to be clean and comfortable. This hotel is more likened to a hostel but with private rooms. The rooms and hotel is very worn and the cupboards all slam which you can hear from multiple rooms down. Room was dirty and the mirrors were so grim it didn't...

We stayed for three nights in March Requested a quiet room and was allocated one on the sixth floor at the side of the building which was quiet, apart from the staff slamming the doors while cleaning Once past reception and the cafe, the hotel becomes tired, the lifts, carpets in the hall could do with updating The room and...

Stayed for 2 nights. Great rooms, big beds, location, this place has is aaaaallllll. 10 mins walk from kings cross station, which is 10-15 mins from all hotspots. Clean, tidy and quiet. Friendly staff, probably needs a bigger breakfast area to accommodate the greed I witnessed.

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighbourhood Profile
Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
