I had a one night stopover and needed a hotel close to Kingscross. The Fairway fitted the bill perfectly. I had studied the reviews before I booked so I knew what to expect and I was not disappointed. The room I had was a basement room with a window to a small courtyard. I found the room to be very...

In London for 2 nights for a quick visit to see friends before a wedding. At the start of a 4 week trip and knowing I would simply be in the room to sleep, I booked this hotel for price and convenience only. Location is perfect for anywhere you need to go in London. Easy to get around and with...

I have been meaning to write a review on this lovely cozy place. We stayed here twice, first during the summer season of 2014 (room facing the street - a little noisy but hey I am from NYC where its the city that never ever sleeps) and again during the Spring of 2015 (room located on the bottom floor). Both...

Positive: friendly staff, excellent location (just a few minutes from the Eurostar/ (Kingscross St Pancr). Enough just for sleeping over the night... Negative: Was asked for room to court yard (and got confirmation that I would get it) but had a room towards the street waking up to the traffic early in the morning. I have been living a couple...

We were three friends in a ensuite room. It was clean and comfortable. We slept well. The hotel is few seconds away from the unerground with two major lines. The breakfast may seem small but it is enough. And finally, staff were friendly enough.

I booked this budget hotel room for my friend during her visit to London for a week. The staff are friendly and nice. The location is very good, within 5 min walk from Kings Cross. There are several car parks nearby but no free parking. The room is quite small and can hear the sound of trains...One thing about the...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
