The room was very small. We were expecting a small room (reading the reviews here) but it was a shock. Seems like the double bed takes 90% of the room. However, we heard it's common in London.
The bathroom is very small as well.
This hotel was booked last minute and for the time of the year, it's pretty cheap for 4 adults comfortably staying in one room. They have lifts. In a quiet & elegant area. A big sainsbury's & laundromat is just 200m. Earls court tube and...More
I normally use our corporate system for getting a hotel in London but on this date the hotels on offer exceeded the daily allowance. The Westbury was cheaper and the reviews, although mixed, were good enough! I arrived just after 7 to a friendly greeting....More

South Kensington / Earls Court / Kensington and Hyde Park
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
