Stayed on top floor, im pretty fit but knackered me out going up there! Room was clean, bathroom was across hall and also clean. All staff were particularly nice and very friendly and continental breakfast was good also. Would stay again as very good value for money @ £79 per night

Booked hotel as it was close to function that evening. Arrived only to be told that they were waiting for a cancellation and had overbooked. Shipped off to another hotel nearby, but further from function. Unimpressed. Whats the point of taking contact details with a booking if you dont use them to contact people in circumstances such as this.

Single female traveller on business. The receptionist wasn't sure which room to give me and I had to point out I booked the £195 double room for £95 via 'Late Rooms'. He carried my case up 6 flights of stairs for me when I asked (no lift). The room was 'functional' but extremely clean with really nice linen sheets and...

Very nice hotel, clean, great location - between Oxford Street in one and Regents Parks in other direction, friendly staf, rooms small but comfortable, all in all - no major complaints. We dont know about car parking because we didnt take a car.

I last stayed here for one night on Saturday 26th January and it was my third visit. The twin room room was at the top of the stairs on the first floor and front facing, Immaculately clean, good room temperature. Downstairs reception staff have always been helpful and polite (one evening they lent an umbrella because it was pouring with...

Average hotel- definitely not 4 star in my eyes. I stayed in room 16 on the top floor, as another reviewer has mentioned, many flights of steep stairs and no lift. When leaving in the morning, I opened a fire door expecting a corridor on the other side, and almost fell down the flight of stairs immediately on the other...

Stayed early December with four other friends for a xmas shopping trip. We will be back...... the rooms were spotlessley clean, all staff were most helpful and hospitable, making coffees and teas, booking taxis, directing us for buses to Knightsbridge ( or else we may have been walking aimlessly to find the right bus stop). So many many thanks all...

If you feel like going on a fitness camp this is great. There are loads of stairs, quite steep and narrow, and no lift. We were not impressed! On top of this the place needs total redecoration. The carpets are threadbare and it could all do with a lick of paint. Our toilet did not flush so we used the...

Dear Zara and Andy, I have recently read your review and was very disappointed to find our that first of all, you have criticised the building, which is a town house, more over a class 2 listed building that cannot be modified or adjusted much to people's needs of space and extra comfort, like large bathroom and lift, all in...

The very central location compensates for the lack of facilities like elevator and air condition. Value for money B&B during the Olympics, helpful staff and clean. English breakfast should however not be subject to extra charges on a B&B in London.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
