My room at the Z hotel was tiny, but very modern yet cozy. It really had everything I could need. Very clean and centrally located. Perfect if you are not going to share a room. Breakfast is ok. Nice complimentary wine and cheese in the evening!

Bed was hard & wide enough, very good for back, blanket soft & warm and 2 extremely perfect pillows per person = so great! (Y) Breakfast included just what you need: berries, fruit, croissants different kinds (loved the sweet ones with almonds), smoked salmon etc. And you got you coffee/tea the way you wanted. The whole concept of these hotels are for 1 or 2 night stays with minimal luggage, which is exactly what we expected and got. So if you do not know your travel partner well or you have loads of luggage or need to dance and have lots of space in your room then this hotel is not for you. For...

This is a good no thrills, barebones hotel. I was able to check in 4 hours ahead of time. The location of the hotel is excellent - near a lot of restaurants and subway stops. It is right across the street from where the new Harry Potter Play is being acted out. The only downsides are that there is no...

Not our first time we spent in Soho over a weekend but first time that we have not been fully satisfied. The rooms are small, it is their concept and is explained on the website. But in fact small is not tiny and in fact that is what the rooms are. Like cans. We have changed after the first night...

First time at Z Hotel Soho. (Previously stayed at Z Hotel Piccadilly) Didn't disappoint, exactly what we needed after a late night out in Soho. Even managed to squeeze in the generous free cheese and wine before we went out.

Everywhere was very busy in Soho but managed to get a table here. Service was friendly and efficient. Small menu but that is OK as easy to decide. Food tasty and well cooked. Wine only served by the glass or carafe. I prefer to see the bottle but chardonnay was OK. Overall very nice and would go again.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
