Stayed here twice recently for business. Rooms are small and basic, usual travelodge but clean and perfectly suitable. Location was great for the city with two tube stations near by. Received exceptional service for the staff here especially Jessica. We made an error with our booking and were actually meant to be at another lodge, Jessica arranged for our booking...

On short notice, I was able to book a room for five nights in London around New Year's Eve. The price of a room varies on different days of the week or on holidays, but they are honest and clear about this when you make your reservation online. Our room was small, and the bathroom was tiny, but this is...

We stayed at the Travelodge for a long weekend. Found the presentation of the room spotless and the attention to detail everything we needed. The staff were there at hand whenever we had a question and was lovely to be greeted when we went out during the day as well as when we returned. We had a cord for the...

We enjoyed our stay in Old Bank. It's location in the financial district of London gave us an sight into a working area a little different from the usual touristss area. Very close to tube stations and St Paul's and the Tate Modern.

I visit London twice a year and always stay at Travelodge, with around 3 visits to this specific Travelodge, I am now sticking to this one. It is inna great quiet location so you get a good nights sleep. Staff are lovely at this hotel and the lady at reception was exceptionally polite and caring! We were greeted each time...

Me and my girlfriend stayed a week in this hotel. The room was tidy and quite large, for London standards. The reception staff has been always helpful and kind. I surely would stay again in this hotel.

Stayed here for one night on New Year's Day. Paid for an early check in. Rooms were clean and to the usual Travelodge standard, perhaps a little bigger than the rooms I have stayed in before. Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. We left our bags with them when we checked out and they kept a particular bag...

This is situated in a great location, reasonably priced and the hotel is also very quiet. I could not have asked for more given that it is the centre of London. Hotel reception staff were very helpful and if I need to stay in London again I will definitely check the availability in this hotel first.

I loved the evening when I stayed in Travelodge. It was so closed to where I work in the Bank area, and had all convenient shops close by. I also loved how discreet it was in the alley way. I received excellect customer service by the lady at the front desk and checking in was fast with all my details....

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
