Stayed here Saturday night in a room on 10th floor with great views over to the Tower & the Thames. Room was clean , right temperature & well equipped. Having read many of the reviews of this hotel I am surprised about the critic of the staff & the hotel itself. In our/my experience the staff attitude to guests was...

Stayed here in many occasions .super location but very much lacking in any charm or beauty ! The rooms are fine ( be careful not to stay near a lift as noisy ) . The mini bar is expensive and in room dining average . The breakfast could be improved upon - I find the whole buffet experience lazy and...

When visiting London we often stay at Grange City Hotel due to it's location and it is one of the few hotels that have allocated smoking rooms. This visit was good but the room we were allocated was a bit small but as we were only staying for one night it didn't matter, so we didn't complain. As mentioned by...

We were looking for a nice hotel to spend our wedding anniversary. We got the so called 4/5 starts the grange city. When arriving the check in changed to 3 o'clock when in the reservation it was 2pm. So we had to go for a walk while waiting to use our room. When we get to the room, surprise our...

I booked a spa package and nights stay for my mums birthday and cannot fault either. I emailed in advance asking for a room with a nice view and was given a large room on the 11th floor with amazing views of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, plus two large beds (king size I think) and sofa's to...

When in London I tend to stay here for the convenience of being close to the office. The place is old, but has good maintenance, the rooms are spaceous and clean. There's free wifi, some nights the bar is very lively. It might not be the most fashionable place, but I will come back when in the City

I have been a regular at the Grange for many years. It is well located and reasonably priced. It has a great gym and pool, but it just has a very tried feel to it at the moment. The decor is dated, rooms need a refresh, lifts are slow and intermittent and there are too many levels and stairs. Nevertheless,...

Everything during my stay there was perfect. Helpful and friendly Stuff (my room was not ready and I needed to run to the office) so they organized me so place to change after a travel and there were no problems with leaving my luggage at the concierge desk. Breakfast was amazing. Perfect business trip.

I've booked this hotel for my visiting overseas friends after receiving great personal recommendations from friends. We were there few days and were introduced to the hotel GM but he wasn't welcomed us at all. I've felt like that he is got some attitude problem. But the rest of the staff are very good. Pleasant and welcoming.

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
