I booked the room via booking.com a few months ago and read their reviews at the time. It wasn't until the day before I was due to check in that I read the reviews on here. You can imagine my horror. I really wasn't sure that I was going to check in at all. I'm glad I did. This hotel...

Easy to move in London, near bayswater underground station...but, no wi fi into the rooms, only in reception, very cheap breakfast, no elevator, no confortable rooms... It's cheap...but very very poor accomodation.

Arrived mid-afternoon, room was pretty shoddy but put it down to budget booking, didn't want to stay long in the room though so went straight out. Came in late that night and went straight to sleep, threw off the sheets in the morning to discover to our horror that there were traces of human waste on the sheets. Went downstairs...

I booked this hotel because it was the cheapest I could find in London which had a private bathroom - so my expectations were low. Firstly the location is fantastic. In a lovely area, near the high street and within a very short walk from 3 separate tube stations. I stayed here twice within 2 weeks - first in a...

I cannot recommend. Shockingly curt and occasionally even rude. I am meant to add more detail here but I have nothing more to add. There are plenty of budget hotels around Paddington at a similar price with better service

we booked this hotel at the very last min and by last min i mean it. we booked it 10 mins before we landed on the doorstep after arriving in london at 11pm and arriving at the place i had originally booked to find it nothing more than a half way house full of druggies and no one there to...

We knew this was a cheap option but we didn't know it was gonna be stressful and uncomfortable. Twice we approached reception to bring to their attention cleanliness matters and they were so rude we gave up. Also arriving late because of being stuck in traffic was like a capital sin. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody,

This hotel is an adequate option if you are on a budget. The hotel is in a good location for tourists with tube, pubs, shops and restaurants within short walking distance. At the price it is ok and you get what you pay for.

Stayed here recently and was given a nice room with a set of stairs which go to a second double bed. Overall the room was lovely but i am a short person and my head hit the ceiling of the room above the stairs! Couldnt stand up! The tv is incredibly small and hard to see and a large crack...

My husband & I had an emergency which meant a couple of nights in London, last minute. We didn't want to splash out on a last minute expensive London hotel as it was just a place for us to lay our heads. Saying that, we still expect a good standard. The Hotel is in a great location, just a few...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
