Took a deal on a website for £65 per night. Hotel is easily found only 5 minute walk from Oxford St. Considering the price of other hotel rooms in the area this was definitely more affordable but I read the reviews ahead if time and knew my 1 night stay was gonna be less luxurious than the nearby 5star hotels....

Cheap and clean, with a great central location for exploring London (close to Baker Street and Marble Arch tube stations, steps from plenty of bus stops). Lots of places to eat on Baker Street, and all of the shopping on Oxford Street nearby.

For the price it was fine. The blue laundry bags in the corridors and on the landings were a bit of an eye sore in an otherwise atmospheric setting. The hotel is a typical English London house with loads of stairs, nooks and crannies.

I've stayed here a couple of times previously and although it is more on the basic side, I never had any nasty surprises. It is very good value for money - for London you understand! And is very central to London, a 20 min easy walk to the West End and 5 mins from Oxford St The decor is quite...

For those travellers like me that know a good find, for the right price in a great location - book it. I will stay here again. I go to London on day trips a lot and now trying to find places for weekend stays - this will be on my list, I expected nothing more from this 3* hotel in...

We had a family room for two adults and one child which was very small, the bathroom was like a port aloo and very very smelly. The room was dirty and there was a mouse trap under our bed. The only heating in the room was a plug in heater. Very dated hotel. The only thing that was good about...

Sadly, it seems that a small number of hotels guests would rather suffer and tolerate what they dislike about their room sometime for days, instead of bringing it to the attention of the Management to deal with the issues and try to resolve them in a manner satisfactory to the guest. The great majority of our guests are extremely satisfied...

It is really, really difficult to find a clean, reasonably priced room in central London - and that is just what Lincoln House offers. I stayed in the standard single room and it was a decent size, had a mini fridge, plenty of tea and coffee sachets and toiletries. I also had a heater in my room. The girl on...

I laugh at some reviews as can't understand what some expect for a well priced room in such a perfect location! Ok we were lucky we got a ground floor room, however on booking I did request one on lower floors and so we did. The reception is 24 hours. The breakfast which is 4.90 stg till 8am is very...

We had a family room so were very surprised by the size, it was tiny and much smaller than any room we've ever stayed in. The ensuite was located in the closet, again tiny. Having said that the room was clean, the staff were amazing and more than willing to help with anything. Location was ideal and easy walking distance...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
