An oasis in the city just a two minute walk from Limehouse DLR station, with excellent staff who were extremely polite and helpful. The room was a little small but spotlessly clean and comfortable with a free car park (but unusually no television in the room, which was not a problem). We only stayed for one night, but would certainly... More

I was attending a board meeting of trustees of a large charity and we needed several rooms at a reasonable price. We have used St Katharine's before, but on this occasion just for b&b. It rightly describes itself as an oasis. Small but perfectly adequate room, spotlessly clean. It was hot outside so the fan was a great asset. A... More

I stay In London every week and thought I'd try something a little different. This place has by far the best breakfast buffet I've seen in a long time (I don't eat full English). The vibe is so chilled and the staff so attentive that the rat race feeling just melts away. The rooms are a little noisy but at... More

Dear Emma, Thank you for your fantastic feedback! I can see that you stayed in one of standard rooms which are a little more exposed to external noises of London, than our garden facing rooms. I would always recommend booking garden facing rooms for the most peaceful stay. Thank you also for your brilliant comments regarding the breakfast, I will... More

This time I was allocated room 22 which overlooks the garden. It is closer to Butchers Row than other rooms I have occupied and so it was possible to hear some traffic noise but on the plus side it was further from the DLR. A fan is provided in the room. As usual there was no internal noise which can... More

Dear Guest, We are delighted you had another enjoyable stay with us at St Katharine's! We are especially pleased that you continued to enjoy our breakfast, and had another peaceful stay! The DLR does undergo maintenance work from time to time on the weekend, but there are many other transport links including buses, London Overground and C2C trains all within... More

Stayed at the B&B for business and an event at the ExCel in London. The rooms are clean and nice, the hotel is located directly near the DLR station Limehouse. Very convenient. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms do not have A/C so that might be a problem during summer. Breakfast was good.

Just a one night stay while here on business that a colleague had booked for me. What a fantastic place this is! Immaculatley decorated and staffed with a real sense of ease whilst walking through the grounds. Real character to the building and outside areas. Its clearly founded on a christian/worship ethos but with none of the usual stuffiness that... More

Wonderful to return and receive a great welcome from the members of staff on the reception desk. Stayed over in the suite again - clean & cool (fan in the room). A great place to visit Stratford to attend the Anniversary Games at the Olympic Park as well as travelling into central London. Thanks - so glad we found you!

Cons: rooms facing garden do not have air-conditioner.The staff was very kind to move us to an air conditioned room but the room was still not comfortable to sleep in.
