Perfect location for a London visit. Right next to Victoria with easy access from station. Family room was spacious. Great sleep, very quiet. Sign up to newsletter and get free breakfast! Compared to B+B's in the area paying a little more was worth it. Handy restaurants within the hotel with reasonable prices.

I chose this hotel because of the convenience as it is on Victoria Station and I was catching the Pullman the following morning. The foyer is magnificent and check-in easy, though I had to take my bags up to my room myself, which was a bit of a surprise. My room was adequate with good facilities, including tea/coffee making items...

Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your post. Our foyer certainly is impressive with its spectacular 10,000 crystal chandelier dominating the lobby, along with our marble pillars adorned with gold leaf, high windows and intricate plaster mouldings. I was really pleased you enjoyed your Grosvenor experience and we do hope you will be travelling this way again soon. Kind regards, Kris

We visited the Grosvenor Hotel Victoria for one night, to see Wicked at the Victoria Palace theatre. My husband has mobility issues so we chose the hotel, because of the close proximity of the station & theatre. The room we had was fine for one night, except for the fact we had a double room but only one set of...

Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your post. Nestled in the corner of Victoria mainline station, our hotel is the perfect location with the Apollo and Victoria Palace theatres really close-by and direct access to public transport from our side entrance. I am sorry you were disappointed in The Grosvenor Arms which offers a welcoming and and informal dining experience with a...

We stayed here as part of a package deal including a theatre trip and it was lovely! The staff were so helpful and made our stay really enjoyable. We left our bags there both days, before and after check in and there were no rules around this, we could leave it for as long as we wanted which was great...

Supposed to be a top hotel but no one to greet you - had to get up the stairs with cases to the front revolving door (not automatic) and got cases stuck, finally made it to the reception cubicle (two cubicles) - Trainees behind the reception who were inexperienced - eventually received our room key and found room which was...

I loved this hotel, the ambiance was amazing, I felt like a princess, we have nothing like this in American. The most beautiful hotel I have ever staying in. Everything about our stay was perfect. I enjoyed my long hot bath in a decent deep bath tub with towel warmer and loaned bathrobe from the hotel. I cannot wait to...

I have stayed here probably 15 times over the years. It's always the same. Great service amazing food and rooms. I love having everything on doorstep and superb London walks. This hotel is from a bygone era and evokes a time of cocktails and the charlston. For anyone this is a treat to be savored.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. After arriving at a ridiculous time (4.30am) and taking time to relax in the hotel lounge and wandering the streets of London for a couple of hours, as our early check in was not until 12pm, the wonderful staff went over and above to accommodate us and upgraded us with a wonderful room at 10am....

A smashing hotel with comfortable rooms and an ambiance that takes you back to an age when railway travel was considered romantic! In the main the staff were excellent, just a few attention to detail things to resolve, like the breakfast service, which for the price was slightly below parr.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
