I stayed here with my husband and 4 years old daughter in December 2019. This hotel is centrally located and is at a convenient place. Lots of restaurants (including Indian restaurants) are walking distance from this hotel. The staff was very warm, welcoming and helpful. The break fast spread was decent and served food that we asked for our daughter. The famous oxford street is close from this hotel. The room size was good enough and not cramped. overall we had a good experience at this hotel.
I was recently one of the last guests staying in this hotel before London shut down for the Covid-19 crisis. The hotel as a whole is great, and excellent value - but I must say that, at an awkward time in the life of the city (to say the least), the staff really stood out as kind, cheerful and extremely helpful. I couldn't have been in a better place, or better looked after. I particularly recall Barbara and David on reception and the very nice gentleman at the concierge (unfortunately I forget his name). I wish them all the best and will certainly return in happier times.
Sadly due to the current circumstances we are unable to stay this weekend as planned but wanted to mention Dane for his excellent customer service and helping us reschedule our stay for later in the year. Very much looking forward to our stay.
We stayed at Amba Hotel Grosvenor for 3 nights on the occasion of my birthday. We had a standard room with a king-size bed (+/- 2 meters wide!). The room was very cozy and recently renovated: a good bed, a large TV, a mini bar with complementary drinks, a good spacious bathroom, ... everything you need. The breakfast is good and tasty. A typical English breakfast. The location of the hotel is perfect: close to Victoria station (the hotel has its own entrance in the station), within walking distance of Buckingham Palace, close to a bus stop, ... There are also many restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. I can definitely recommend Amba Hotel Grosvenor!
Great Hotel ,Great Location, beautiful decor with lots of interesting featuresand ,great breakfast and friendly staff.would recommend this hotel, and I would definitely be staying here on my next visit to London,
