Stayed here during marathon weekend and it's ok, we got it at a good price on Super Break including train fare. Yes the place could do with a tidy up, the decor is a little tired and dated. But the room was comfortable and the breakfast was ok. The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. At...

The only advantage of this hotel is that it has reasonable prices for the location (minutes from Russell Square Metro Station). But I've stayed previously in Premiere Inn, and would recommend it over this one by all means! The staff is very rude (especially the Philippino lady at the Breakfast Hall, and the probably-Slovakian barmaid in the lounge bar) -...

Awful... Dirty.. Grubby.. Noisy... Large groups of students. Long queue for breakfast.. The dining room was like a large transport cafe.. Plastic chairs.. No comforts... Eating was no joy whatsoever.. Felt sick.. The lady behind the breakfast counter. Very rude to people. Never again. The worse hotel I have ever stayed in.

The most suitable place to stay if you're on business or city break, the tube station is just 5 minutes walking from the hotel. Spacious and clean rooms, standard amenities, yet, ladies, please do not forget your hair dryer home because you will not find any. Otherwise, you will find a rich and delicious breakfast. Additionally, close by the hotel...

This hotel is very dated! Room was a little smelly of cigarettes, but it was clean at the end of the day. Restaurant was very "80s" but tasted good. Comfortable beds, friendly staff and reasonably priced for the location. We stayed in a triple room x

Stayed here with the family for 2 nights, ages raging between 10 & 70. Excellent location, just metres from Russell Square tube station. Very busy hotel but not terribly noisy. Easy & quick check in, very friendly staff & very clean rooms. We had a triple room which had a single & double bed in it but the room didn't...

Very cĺean but basic.noisy street if your in the front hotel rooms . Bowling alley at back of hotel (over 18 from 21:00) Fine for short stay. Limited breakfast choices. Not a bad location. Near to Russell square underground. Big bus stop outside, buy on line (much cheaper).

I am not normally someone who is particularly picky when it comes to hotels. I have always been happy with places like Premier Inn etc where you get a bog standard room and all the basic amenities, but no frills. I know you get what you pay for your money, but this place is atrocious and I feel that is...

Good location in the British museum area. Big lobby but with no seating whatsoever. Breakfast is very poor with not even a boiled egg, or you have to pay stg.5 each for an English breakfast, and if you do not go early you have to queue in a long line. Good sized room for two and with an electric kettle.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
