The staff were very nice and helpful, the location was close to the tube which was great for getting around. The family room at the garden area was perfect for our needs. Common rooms very comfortable and free wifi. Guest kitchen was well stocked

Stayed here for four days and for a hostel I was very happy - the bathrooms were cleaned every day, the linen in our room was clean and the blankets were nice and warm! I met some lovely people in the kitchen (bit on the small side for the amount of people they cater for) and in the back garden...

We had booked a room for the 6 of us and had the nice surprise to be in one of the garden bedrooms (B14).Iit was lovely to have the garden on our doorstep (well exposed, some sun loungers and tables, brilliant!). The rooms are pretty basic but after all it's an hostel, the shower could do with some more hooks...

Lovely building, easy to find from Earl's court tube station. Friendly staff, room was clean and ensuite (a garden room). Breakfast was tasty. Nice rear enclosed garden. Planning on staying here again.

Wi-Fi in the room working but poorly, good location, quiet. The staff was fiendly and helpful. The room (we had a room for two) was clean, but very basic, there could be more furniture for stuff. We liked the location - the street was quiet, 5 minutes of walk to Earl's Court underground station.

I recently stayed at Earls Court YHA with my mother and we both enjoyed our time. It was clean, and also quiet but still near to the station which was convenient for travelling around London. The beds were comfortable and the lockers were a good size. The staff were all absolutely wonderful and very helpful. The only very small complaint...

AMAZING location - close to Tube, grocery stores and restaurants; quiet street Bathrooms could use a facelift and more ventilation but I never had an issue finding an unoccupied bathroom or shower. Rooms could also use more outlets - depending on your bed location in the room you may not have an outlet anywhere close to you. Doors slam quite...

I stayed here for 3 nights and it's a nice place. Only issue I faced was there was only one charging point next to one girls bed and that was disappointing . Rooms were big enough and good storage . Would recommend carrying a pad lock for locking. Bathrooms were clean and it was airy room. Hospitality was good. Nice...

I am usually the hotel sorta person but I wanted to try out the hostel experience (not like the movie or anything) just the whole sharing and mixing. I was probably too tired to interact with anyone as I had just come back from Cuba and jetlag was whopping my behind! But it was clean, staff were nice and on...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
