The Sanctuary Hotel and the adjacent bar was a pleasant surprise. The room whilst not large is well appointed and very clean with all the amenities you expect from a central London venue. We are within walking distance of the houses of Parliament, and Trafalgar Square and therefore all of theatre land. The pie, chips and liquor (vegetarian option) was...

Stayed here one night for a concert and had fantastic service! Staff were very helpful and the room was fantastic. We checked out and the staff were able to store our bags for the day so we could explore without being weighted down!

What an amazing hotel. The team are really friendly, rooms are amazing and surprisingly quiet for it's location. The only downside was the bar team were quite rude out of the three I saw working only the blonde one had any manners, I just wished I caught her name to praise her but if her boss is reading this I...

Very good location. Room was clean and well maintained by staff. The breakfast could have been more substantial, and more tea/coffee could have been offered. The only real complaint was that the waste disposal from the pub below took place outside the window at about 06:30 in the morning, which was not ideal for a light sleeper.

The hotel is beautiful in central London. Good value and great experience. I loved the smell in the hotel entrance and all these old English style and beautiful bathroom. Downstairs Fuller's pub was very nice, great service and good environment.

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
