It's is quirk, the entrance is strange, but once inside its friendly, clean. We had a twin room that can also be a double plenty of space, easy to access the roof terrace. The room was very quiet so really good sleep quality. The continental breakfast that is delivered to your room meant we could get on with our day....

The hotel entrance is the lift: everything in this hotel has been squeezed to make the best use of space, and given it's in one of the most expensive parts of London, that's not a surprise. My room (12) was comfortable and clean, and the bed was great. Everything is pretty tight, but it worked. I had been upgraded from...

Guest at a Wedding Reception; Searcy's operates like a well oiled and serviced machine; 75 guests; simultaneous service with all courses; fine staff - present and unobtrusive; all smacks of in-depth training. A total success on their part- which reflected onto us, the guests.

I stayed last night at Searcy's. I had a beautiful room and the receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly, coming down to meet me in the lift. I was then brought a pot of tea and biscuits. I really enjoyed breakfast in bed too - a very relaxing start to they day! Extremely comfortable bed. I would highly recommend Searcy's...

I have stayed at Searcy's twice ( first time in September 2013 and second time in June 2014). Being a previous resident in London, I wanted a homely place that reminded me of my time in London, but yet having some comfort after a long day's walk. Searcy's fitted all that, also being near some of my favourite shopping spots...

Unorthodox entry (door opposite a car park, person from reception came to fetch when called), very friendly service including a pot of tea at arrival, nice and cosy room, no street noise although less than 100 m from Harrod's - i.e. a great lovcation as well. For me the only minuses were small and cramped table space making it difficult...

Beautiful and individual hotel in the heart of London. I stayed on a Friday night and it was lovely and peaceful, you would never know you were in the heart of the city. The room was spotlessly clean and well equipt with Molton Brown toiletries, bath, shower and a comfy bed. The air conditioner was quiet and effective. I stayed...

If you are looking for a full-service hotel, this is not the place. However, if you are looking for a place that is well-located but also tucked away, with breakfast, this could be your place. Like other guests, we also experienced hot water problems. However, we were upgraded to a larger room which did have functioning hot water, and were...

This review is intended to provide information for potential future guests. The first thing you should be aware of is that Searcy is not a traditional type of hotel. I love well-run boutique hotels in residential areas, but as other guests describe, you should be aware of certain aspects of the building. It's a small building in a residential area...

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your experience once again. We all at Searcys Roof Garden Rooms were under impression that after numerous e-mails and communication which resulted an extensive generous gesture from us had been resolved to compensate inconveniences that were mentioned above. We are sorry to hear that you have raised the same issues again. I would like...

I read the varied reviews of this hotel, and hoped that the positive would prevail. I was travelling alone on business, and started to feel a sense of foreboding when the london cabbie couldn't easily find the hotel. A first for me, when I was greeted through an intercom, stepped straight from the street into a lift, which transported me...

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighbourhood Profile
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
