The Lime Tree Hotel was the perfect place for our week in London. You cannot beat the location. It is walking distance from Victoria Station where we caught the Gatwick Express to/from the airport - so convenient. Also, many of our tours departed from Victoria Coach Station, right around the corner, as well. In fact, we were able to walk... More

My sister and I are just back from a 2 night stay in the Lime Tree Hotel. I couldn’t fault it. The building had character to it and was kept spotlessly clean. We stayed in a twin room which had a double and a single bed. Spacious room with a modern bathroom. The area is upmarket and we found it... More

I stayed for a single night in a triple room on a business trip with my girlfriend. The welcome was warm and the room was perfectly proportioned. The bathroom looked new and everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was also excellent, the whole stay was fantastic value for money - couldn't fault and I will be back!

The Lime Tree Hotel is a wonderful hotel in a convenient and lovely neighborhood. My family looks forward to returning many times in the future. The rooms are very clean and nice and the daily breakfast is very satisfying... Folks who want AC or an elevator should look elsewhere, but if you are able to do without those amenities, you... This was our third stay at the Lime Tree, and each visit tops the previous. Helpful staff, a comfortable bed, exceptional traditional English breakfast, in a fine safe neighborhood with endless public transport connections nearby.

Just back from another fabulous visit to London! This was our second stay at The Lime Tree Hotel and it was perfect! If you are considering where to stay in London and want a convenient location that isn't in a busy area like Victoria or Paddington... this is the place. The Lime Tree is located in an elegant and safe... More

The Lime Tree is run by a husband and wife couple who really care. The hotel is made up of two combined Georgian townhouses and isn't fully "modern". In other words, windows might not close snugly, etc. But that's the price for authenticity. Location is great - very close to Victoria station and not far from Sloane Street tube. Lots... More

Staying in Belgravia

Neighbourhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
