This hotel was 'self rated' as 2 star. I'm not sure how much it fits but I've stayed in much better quality 2 stars before. The location was reasonably central with good access to links, walking distance from major attractions and some good local amenities. Unfortunately the hotel experience was much less than average. For £50 a night you don't...

The room and carpet are very smelly, bath place is a joking place, the curtain of window very dirty, the window cannot close properly. Once check in this hotel, me and husband decide to book other hotel because the room really make us feel mad and insecure. Not recommend to my friend for this hotel...

Yes it's cheap in a decent location but their cleanliness is something to be desired. Stayed and checked in late. Room was filthy. Floors look like they haven't seen a Hoover in years. Curtains were covered in dust. Tea and coffee facilities, sugar in container, no spoon. Bathroom was a joke. Went to get a shower, and towel looked like...

Disgusting , this place is a very unclean premises and smells very much like a nursing / care home! The reception is filthy , the rooms are filthy and dangerous , we had plugs over heating. The bedding , towels & bathroom are all dirty & not a care is given! This has to be 1 of the worst places...

OK, after reading some of the reviews I really don't know what some people expect in the centre of London for the price! It also left we with some worry as I opted for the cheaper price with no refund guarantee. I travel a lot with work and have stayed in some excellent hotels (4/5 star). I've also travelled for...

Realy DIRTY , old and the stuff was rude. It should be closed. They don't give you your room when you arrive if it's not 14.30 even if it'w empty and you have to check out at 10.30 . If you ask to leave your suitcases for 1-2 hours the charge you 2.5p per suitcase...

Yes it's cheap but not even the rough sleepers of Pimlico and Victoria would choose to stay in this filthy unwelcoming so called hotel. The location is good as it's so close to Victoria rail/coach station and a few minutes walk into the city of Westminster. I didn't dare stay for a breakfast as I value my health. Stay here...

I read many reviews on here and thought it couldn't be THAT bad surely? Yes it's a low price, so I wasn't expecting a fantastic hotel but... Well... This was something else! The greeting was received was just a 'hello' and 'give us your money'. They charged my card for the amount, and then took the amount by cash also....

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.

“Don't pay for any extras, but just grab them outside. Better experience elsewhere all round.”
  • You could easily fit a hand under it. Needless to say, my belongings weren't left near.
  • Just a little rough round the edges and dusty. Oddly placed in room shower.
