The Hotel has been under renovation, so the staff more than made up for the small inconveniences. We were treated with such kindness. Hannah was especially kind, making my nieces stay very special and adding memories of seeing the show Wicked. She surprised them with Wicked cupcakes and programs. What a fantastic surprise. The hotel's location was perfect.

The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. The hotels location was in the centre of Trafalgar square so walking distance to everything was achievable. We were the first to stay in a refurbished room so that was an unexpected bonus!

The hotel is undergoing a massive refurb and by the look of the new reception, looks very promising. Yes there are works going on but the service delivered by all people I interacted was fantastic. Can't wait to come back and see the final product.

The hotel is very centrally located with convenient access from the tube. It is right accross from the National Gallery. The rooms are charming. The hotel staff we encountered were all pleasant, offering to help and provide a good service. Friendly check in staff. The continental breakfast consisted of a variety of fruits, meat, cheese and bread and was wonderful. If...

This deluxe room fell well short of expectations,it was fitted with two old wardrobes, it was colourless and not like the photo on the web site. There are ongoing renovations and the noise from contractors working was continuous and will be for several months

Hotel is well situated and I am loyal to Hilton so selected this accommodation. Check in fine. The problem was that drilling and construction commenced at around 0730 in an adjacent room There is no need for this - after 0900 yes OK - but not before. I had stayed up until 0200 in the morning working and therefore had...

Dear Nicholase989, Thank you for your review. I am very sorry that you were disturbed by the noise coming from the refurbishment works. I am at a loss as to why the works started so early because the works are contracted to start at 09.00am and end at 6pm the latest. I have brought your experience onto our contractors' attention...

Trafalgar Hotel is really nice and quiet hotel, though really close to big landmarks of London like Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben etc. Charing Cross Tube station is in 3 min walking distance, so really easy to commute everywhere. 5 min walking distance is St. James Park, which leads to Buckingham Palace, 15 min walking distance from Hotel. Arrived here for a visit to the rockwell bar at the hotel. When we arrived to the front entrance we were welcomed by members of staff who were friendly and very helpful . Staying in St. James's

Neighbourhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
