Functional, clean rooms with usual facilities. The place felt like a solid 4* to me, but definitely not a 5*. For the price (compared to other London hotels), I would have expected slightly more: more individual service, better facilities, better toiletries etc.; but - as in my case, too - it's on corporate expense and the companies are willing to...

We have been staying at this hotel for around 5 years now! We visit London for a family trip around twice a year. Exceptional stay once again! Received a super warm welcome from reception on arrival. Really appreciated the receptionist moving us from a 3rd floor to a 13th floor room so that my 7 year old could marvel at...

We booked this hotel very last minute, after staying here before, and again lived up to expectations. Check in was very quick and very easy, and our room on floor 6 again was lovely. All the rooms are very big and the bed are comfortable. The location also make this hotel what it is, and little walk from tower hill,tower...

We booked this hotel through a last minute website so we didn't really know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival. The hotel is lovely, the reception staff were very friendly and we were upgraded from a double room to a twin double. The room was faultless, we had free use of the swimming pool, steam and...

This was another stay at the hotel as we were so impressed with it previously. This was a birthday stay and it was lovely to have a birthday dessert in the room on arrival...thank you for the lovely surprise for my daughter's 18th. We had previously stayed in a larger executive room with fabulous views ( see previous review) and...

looked for hotel close to my meetings in City and Grange came up on budget, very pleasant staff, upgraded me to double room - v good quality fittings, bathroom excellent with power shower. Good facilities on site however I used Wetherspoons Goodmans Field next door for food & drinks as far better value.

We booked The Grange Tower Bridge Hotel as a secret hotel deal for two nights. Once we were emailed the hotel details we were pleasantly surprised, but not as much as when we arrived on the day. On arrival, we were greeted by a smartly dressed doorman who directed us to the reception area. Just inside the main entrance doors...

The walking distance to the Tower Hill Tube station is a definite plus. The lovely staff and facilities is another plus. The rooms had a wonderful spacious washroom and comfy bed, and the view of the city skyline was lovely to look out at. I enjoyed my stay very much!

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
