The hotel was clean and the rooms really nice. The staff were really kind and helpful. The reception staff in particular took time to talk to my 12 year old son about his interests and were really friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We recently stayed at this hotel for two nights, as we were celebrating our sons' 18th and 21st birthdays. The hotel is in a brilliant location just 2 minutes walk from Tower Hill Tube Station and you can see the Tower of London from the Hotel. The Reception staff were really lovely and very professional. One of our rooms was...

A typical Novotel, nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very busy and quite basic with limited choice, I would recommend for what they charge go out for breakfast as lots of options in the area

This hotel is very well located and close to 2 underground stations so easy to get to. On arrival the reception staff were excellent and check in was fast and painless. We had a room on the 5th floor with views of Tower Bridge and the tower of London which was nice, The room was clean and tidy with a...

Situated close to the river by the Tower of London. Shops and restaurants all around, and the hotel has a great bar/ restaurant that is always lively and fun. Rooms are comfortable and clean, and staff friendly and helpful/ Great for business travel, but ain good position for holidays too.

Stayed there because of the good location close to Tower Hill and DSL station. Rooms are good standart, people friendly and competent. Decent bar with good food. There was a bad foulish smell from the shower tab, probably something in the drain.

We are a Family of 3 adults and a baby, and booked a suite for 6 nights (12/04-15/04, 15/04-18/04). Novotel being a 4 star rated, I expect them to be hospitable and make my stay a pleasant and enjoyable one, but it's mixed. 12Apr17: Smooth check-in with very good greetings from Reception. The amnetities were for 2 adults, I had...

Hotel is a great location for London bus tours, underground, walking tower bridge area. Modern clean hotel, with a decent restaurant and friendly staff. Quiet rooms despite sometimes noisy pedestrian street. Bathroom sink was slow draining but room service kept everything tidy. Towels were nice and big. Very good hotel and decent price for London.

The Novotel at Tower Bridge is a modern hotel with comfortable rooms, albeit on the small side (like every hotel I've stayed at in London). I went with two kids, but without my wife. We enjoyed the area more than the hotel. The hotel is walking distance to the Thames (about 4 min away), half a dozen good pubs and...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
