Stayed here as part of an event in the conference facilities. The location of the hotel, although we didn't have much time to enjoy it, is great. It is right next door to Marble Arch tube station which was perfect as we had a few heavy bags and cases to carry. Marble Arch is right opposite with Hyde Park. Perfect...

Noisy. Wilted lettuce. Weak shower. Relatively clean. Smallish rooms - I stayed in single. But overall nice service and place. Great location. Muslim section is nearby for awesome food and hyde park is a short walk. Oxford street is just outside your door.

I got taken as a birthday treat to the Cumberland hotel for afternoon tea with champagne, the staff and service was to a high standard, we was not rushed, and had 3 top ups of tea, with no problem, Hope I get the same treat next year.

Hotel I did the booking on booking.com despite my concerns about hotel security after the horrific attack on Emirati women some months ago. Even though I clearly set my room preferences while booking (Executive double room on a high floor with Hyde park view I was moved three times from the room since there were several unconformities with what we...

I sincerely hope that you would give us another chance to serve you, and I can assure you that we are continuing to...

This review isn't for the Cumberland hotel itself but the Carbon Bar which is part of the hotel. I have always found the hotel to be fantastic but they have really let themselves down with the Carbon. Booked a table for the England World Cup game and everything was poor. The beer was awful, food very average. The service was...

We were upgraded to the executive suite which is just lovely, very modern and clean. Perfect location, being 6 months pregnant I didn't want to walk too far, but the hotel is right left to the...

I have always loved this hotel. It's got a great location and has a contemporary feel to it unlike any other hotel I have ever been to. The rooms are OK size. The only issue I can highlight was the air conditioning in the room which was too noisy. Bar and restaurant offerings are very good. I believe the staff...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
