I stayed at Notting Hill Hotel several times from 2004 until 2011 with adult students from Germany. I must say I can´t understand bad feedback for this hotel. All my students loved the hotel for perfect location in the middle of Notting Hill, opposite a quiet park so you can leave the window open at night in busy London and...

I have been here since the middle of November 2014, as I am looking for a new flat. I am very particular on where I stay. When I could not stay where I have stayed for years, I was not too keen to stay in a place that I did not know much about. All what I can say is...

Now, Im not one to write reviews regarding my stay in places but I thought I needed to come on here and write a review to counteract all the bad reviews this hotel has received! I must admit, I was fairly worried after reading these reviews(this was the only place I could book around NYE that didn't cost an absolute...

The pros: great location in Notting Hill, quiet, relatively cheap for London The cons: small, dirty and worn out rooms. The owners are so rude it's almost funny. The owners talk really bad to their staff which isn't nice. You have to pay for wi-if and you pay per device! Terrible breakfast.

Was put in this hotel as work digs so wasn't expecting much but this place is disgusting!! Tiny, dirty rooms. Mould everywhere . Hot water took 10 minutes to come on.uncontrolled heating. No kettle in the room so bottles of water are a must. Everytime you leave the hotel the receptionist practically chases you to hand your key in, on...

I was placed at this hotel due to an error on my booking websites end. From the start, when I had to stand in the cold at the door, due to no doorbell I knew I was in for a shock, but I didn't expect to be reduced to tears by the extremely rude lady at the front desk. First,...

The pictures I saw while booking were deceiving, looked like a completely different hotel. Great position, near to the tube, but other than that STAY AWAY. Filthy and cramped room, missing basic facilities (bathroom without mirror, broken shower head).

Very nice staff, liked our room very much, even if it was small, it was very newely repaired. Also liked that it was well situated. Near underground, near Portobello road, near Kensington park ,and good breakfast opportunitys(they had no breakfast at the hotell).

This is a charming hotel in a great location. I had not stayed in Notting Hill before as I thought it was too-far from central London but I was very wrong, just two tube stops from Paddington (HeathrowExpress). The hotel was really lovely and although I had the smallest room in the hotel I loved it, like a very luxurious...

dirty, shabby, scruffy, in extremly poor shape, worn-out .... massive invasion of mould fungus in the "bathroom" (if this would be in a prison, the human rights association would react) "hotel" (=ramshackle) is so inherently bad that it cannot be improved be aware that "Notting Hill hotel" is also an extremly NOISY place, no sleep guaranteed !

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
