I’ve stayed before and would do so again. 3rd time round same experience. A clean comfortable room and friendly helpful staff. Handy for Westfield Shopping Centre. It’s a little bit out of town, which I like, but with the tube over the road I wouldn’t say this is a problem

I been staying at the Hilton Kensington over 15 years. The reason is the staff. Patricia the manager is so incredible. The front desk is amazing. The bell desk can’t do enough for you. And housekeeping is the best. The breakfast staff are so warm and kind. Everyone is just the nicest people. Yes the Hilton Kensington is special because of the people that just makes you feel so welcome. We could never stay anywhere else in London. We just love the hotel.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location and close to a number of tube stations. We had drinks and snack in the bar and breakfast - all of which were excellent. Our room was good, plenty of space and amenities but our only complaint were the beds which were very creaky and so kept us awake when we moved. Overall, we would stay again and recommend to friends and family.

We stayed in room 1110 and we were disappointed the room is in need of some work We didn’t sleep well as the water was constantly running in the toilet (we have a video if you would like us to share) there was a large crack in the cistern lid. In the shower there were two bottles of shampoo and the conditioner bottle was empty and no shower gel or body wash. We ended up using the hand wash but you can’t move the bottle so very hard once you’re in the shower. Next to the fire alarm there was a panel with no cover and wires were showing. We reported this to the duty manager and the maintenance team came and put a cover on this should have been spotted before we stayed in the room. The desk chair needs replacing and the carpets have seen better days. It wasn’t value for money and very disappointed it lets down the Hilton brand.

Dear travellers! I was for over a week in Hilton London Kensington, 179 - 199 Holland Park Avenue, London Warning! I found a large number of pre-authorisations on my bank account. Any time I paid for something in the hotel, instead of taking the payment they were blocking in my account several time bigger amount of money (???!!!) Till today (3 weeks) the money is not back in my account! One of the employees at the reception told me "privately" that it is a "new way of making extra money by some of the staff"... (!!!???) If I will not pay attention within 30 days I will be not able to complain. F...k... This is a theft and I'm going to go with that more further. I'm over 30 years with Hiltons... This is not Hilton anymore!

I am a Hilton honours Gold member. I have been a long stay guest. Then i checked out for a day and came back again. After check in they charged my credit card for 20 pounds as deposit for an extension cord. Absolutely atrocious. I have travelled around the world but have never come across a hotel that does this. The value of the extension cord is not 20 pounds yet thats the deposit they asked for. When i asked the reception why this was done then they said it is their hotel policy.. in that case hilton needs to review such atrocious hotel policies. The manager said he would release the amount. But in the first place it shows the disgusting attitude of the hotel. This hotel should learn the meaning of hospitality.

I have been here with my partner several times, all times were devoted to matters with documents at the consulate, and your hotel gave me wonderful emotions. Why did I mention the paperwork - because your hotel is literally 5 steps from my destination, and right in the center of the largest shopping center! This is a huge plus. The rooms are clean, we were delighted with their beauty on both visits. Breakfast is a miracle! A buffet that has a variety of food for people with allergies, different religions and vegans, that is, choose whatever your heart desires. Finally, I would also like to express my deep gratitude to the guy at the reception for his friendliness and responsibility! (I don't know his name, unfortunately) He also knows about various topics, and said that my jacket (from the anime "Attack on Titan") is very cool, and that he also likes this show (this is rare, and I'm glad to meet people that know this show), so thank you for a great time! We'll be back :-)

I had stayed at this hotel at the end of 2019 and thought it was a really great value being priced well below other Hilton properties in London. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom looked like it had been renovated, and the room had plenty of storage. The proximity of the hotel to the tube (3 tube stops within 5-10 walk) and over rail trains cannot be beat. Apart from the Westfields mall across the street, this area is mostly residential, so quiet and safe. My stay this year, however, was disappointing. Two nights in a row there were two false fire alarms in the middle of the night. My original room was unbearably hot, so I asked to switch, and while the second room was only slightly less warm (the heat is central and despite the thermostat in the room, could not be adjusted), it was significantly smaller. There were only two outlets in the entire room and none by the bed. The mattress felt hollow and springy (in a hard metal way not a good soft way) and made an awful boing sound when you sat on it. The room itself was mostly clean but in desperate need of a refresh. The caulk in the bathroom needs replacement, and the tiles were grimy in the shower (there was no tub in the second room). The carpet looked like it had seen better days, and the furniture was not as nice and modern as most Hiltons. The staff were the best part of this hotel. The front desk was accommodating and helpful with the heat issue even if they could not solve the problem altogether. The housecleaning staff were prompt and reliable. Many other hotel staffers accommodated requests for ice and bars of soap (this hotel has liquid body soap, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion in the rooms). Overall the property just does not meet the Hilton standard, and although I have often recommended it, I will not anymore.

When arriving we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist, super charming and made light conversation while we checked in. Check-in was easy and provided no problems. After receiving our key we went up to our room, at first glance the room look tidy, clean and small however due to location I had assumed the rooms might be on the smaller side - so I felt this was a fair compromise. Getting settled in the room we started to notice a few issues; the door to the bathroom was broken, the lock did not work and the sliding door did not close (as a couple we have few boundaries but even so I like a closed door while I do my morning business), we went to make a coffee with the usual instant freebies that are in hotels to find that only 1 of us could have a caffeinated coffee the other had to result to decaf - which is unpleasant at the best of times let alone a cheap freebie version. We also noticed there was only one double plug socket in the room and it was nowhere near the bed so charging phones had to be done at different times to enable the digital clock to be kept plugged in. As a heavily pregnant guest I knew that I was in for a hot night sleep, this is my usual state however the heat was unbearable even with the window open. We went out shortly after this. We returned back to the hotel around 9:30pm (I can't manage a late night in the current situation) and settled in to watch a bit of TV before bed. (Room still very hot). We layed on the bed and straight away I could feel this was a very either old or cheap mattress, I could feel the springs in my back and even when I got up to stand it made the cartoon 'boing' sound. We watched a bit of TV till 11pm and then settled in for some sleep. The pillows are probably the worst I have ever come across, I laid my head on them and immediately I could feel the mattress beneath. I resulted in using the bathroom towel to bolster up the pillow, then folded the pillows in half to get some better lift. We then pulled the duvet over ourselves to realise it was a single duvet in a potentially double/king sheet. Luckily I was exceptionally hot due to the room and therefore did not need it meaning my partner stayed covered, however I think it's a fair expectation to have a double duvet within a double sheet. We eventually started to sleep however my night was incredibly disturbed due to the uncomfortable bed. Only then to be woken around 3am with a startling fire alarm. While I realise this is a safety responsibility and one that the hotel cannot control, the lack of communication, guidance and reassurance was not there. About 5 minutes after the fire alarm sounded we were informed by a tannoy system that all guests must evacuate, we exited via the fire escape and ended in the sheltered part of the building, no further communication was provided until we received information to return to the building around 30 minutes later. What little time we had left to try and sleep continued to be disturbed as mentioned above, for my partner as well as myself. To summarise; an experience I was initially looking forward to ended up being the worst hotel stay I have experienced. I thought by selecting a Hilton I would be at least guaranteed a comfortable night in a good location, maybe not the most lush or unique but at least comfortable. The location remains the only positive thing about our stay, even the lovely staff cannot rectify the tired state of the hotel. The hotel rooms are in dire need of a refresh and a clearer policy of fire evacuation is needed. Little to say this has tarnished our experience of Hilton hotels and we will not be staying in the chain again, I suggest looking closer to Shepard's bush to find a similarly priced, up to date and more boutique experience (the H*****) which I didn't know about until after our horrific Hilton experience.

Unfortunately I had the worst experience at the Hilton Hotel at Kensington Hilton. Very Rude Manager of the shift. treat us out of respect. My Husband has Parkinson's disease and she kept us waiting for 5 hours to solve the ridiculous problem. The room was paid off with Staff's Family members rate. It was only a treat for the anniversary & Hospital appointment. The only reason they didn't let us in the room was because it was paid with a different bank account. They could have dealt with it more professionally. Been charged for the first night cancellation and had to book again. We were so tired and had to get up early and had to beg her out of her office to discuss anything. I ended up joking with her please do you want me to buy you any coffee so you can help us through the rebooking. Keep commenting about the person who booked the room for us. Very strange. After 5 hours we got the worst room on the Planet. stinky , broken toilet, Dirty carpet+ the smell of the bleach. I had k before you accept the key. Totally disappointed. What an anniversary to remember. What a waste of night.5 Hour in the Lobby and lost half the money+ paid again 😞 I can't believe they didn't even care about the disability issues. We had a long journey at least we deserved to be offered a glass of water. Unprofessional. Can't say it enough.
