We stayed for 3 nights in May. The hotel is situated in a nice area and initially doesn't look too bad. Our room was on the 2nd floor and was clean throughout our stay - I couldn't fault the housekeeping staff. Any staff I spoke to were polite and helpful. Our room was not ready upon our arrival so we...

We have stayed here quite a few times and have always had great service from reception and slept in newly refurbished rooms. The hotel is in a safe and vibrant area. The breakfast is also good. I would recommend this hotel to everyone! Thank you staff!! See you again next year.....

Clean, spacious, superior twin air conditioned room, friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be staying here on our next visit. Only negative aspect was the poor WiFi connection in room. This however did not spoil a great holiday.

Dear David-Aidan P, I was so pleased to read that you enjoyed the service provided and were impressed by the front of the house team, many of whom have been with us for some time. Their passion to deliver above and beyond and to exceed guest expectations at every encounter is what we pride ourselves on. Regarding our WiFi, we...

My husband and I stayed here two nights first week of May, the room was extremely small, we had trouble moving around the room without getting in each other's way. The bathroom was small but was a little more modern and mostly clean. We enquired about wifi and were advised there was a charge for this (the only hotel in...

Dear Ashley J, Our room sizes do vary throughout the building and are also dependent on the room type you choose, however on average our room type size is higher than the London average standard room. I wanted to say how sorry I was to see that you appeared to have difficulty connecting to the Wi-Fi. Our IT team are...

We stayed there for five days, and had two rooms in our reservation as my mom travelled with us. Af first glance the hotel looks nice, but very soon you will notice that it is not. The hotel managers seemed greedy as you have to pay extra, or leave a high security deposit for Everything. For example, loaning an english...

Dear Puppelicious, It disappointments me to read we did not deliver in terms of service and your expectations. I have taken note of your comments and please be assured that your feedback is taken seriously and steps to address the issue have been discussed at length with the team. Dirty carpet in rooms, toilet was moldy, the bath didn't drain so we had to shower in water up to our knees almost. No free wifi, breakfast was a bit poor. Only positive surprise was the beds. Clean linen, comfy beds. Would never return to this hotel.

I requested an upper floor room weeks prior to arriving as I was aware of the reviews of basements rooms in this hotel. On arrival we were given a basement room. It was horrific in the extreme. Tiny, windowless,no telephone signal, no landline working, no wifi. The bed just fitted in the room with a miniature bathroom. On complaining a supervisor /manager allocated us...

Dear Colm54321, I was most disappointed to read your experience was let down by your room allocation. Unfortunately, the only rooms we had available when your reservation was made were our lower ground floor rooms. I have left a note on your profile with your room preferences and we will make sure to allocate a room on a higher floor...

One night stay on a Superbreak concert package. We would rate this as a 2 star and I would say a budget backpackers type of place to stay. The reception looks nothing like the photo, is dirty and scruffy and not well kept, the rooms aren't much better, with the curtains not closing properly and hanging off the track, actually...

We have just returned from a 4 night stay (10th - 14th April 2017) We had 2 rooms booked. We ended up with one twin (good size) and a double (a little snug) on the 4th floor. Walls and hallways a little battered but rooms very clean. Some very noisy guests and paper thin walls meant that we were woken...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
