Have stayed at Rembrandt many times of the years and it is still good value for an excellent location. My husband says best English breakfast he has ever had and very friendly service. Have worked in travel for many years and cannot fault this hotel.

We've taken the kids to London three times over the past five years and we always come back to the Rembrandt. First of all, you can't beat the location -- walking distance to Knightsbridge and South Kensington tube stops and right across the street from the Victoria & Albert, Natural History, and Science Museums. Another block and we were at...

Pleasant stay. The members of staff are very helpful, the room was average size and clean. Very good location for museums (the hotel is in front the main entrance of the V&A). Breakfast was included in the price and there was a good selection of both cooked and continental breakfast

Just finished a 2 day event here in which I had 32 people from all over the world attend. The hotel was brilliant. Function rooms are easily accessible and had everything we needed. Breakfast / lunch and dinner and also at the bar food was very very nice and we had no complaints from our group what so ever. The...

We always come here in mid January to dispel the post Christmas blues. Lovely rooms and jolly good breakfast. Right in the centre of all the museums and near good restaurants. Not a ridiculous price either. Haven't eaten there other than breakfast. Lovely place with very nice staff.

Stayed in London for a long weekend for the family of 5. We hired two interconnecting rooms which had bubble baths. This kept the girls very happy. Apart from the location and important factor for a return to this hotel was the wonderful breakfast. Before the tourist time around London a great breakfast is always required and they did not...

We spent 3 nights here. The staff were friendly and helpful. Classic Room on 4th floor in the back of the building, courtyard facing, meaning it was quiet. Spacious room, with the bonus of a cellphone allowing free calls to the US! Continental breakfast was plentiful, so no need to upgrade to the full English offering. Hotel is a 5...

We visited the week after Christmas, over New Years eve. The country was on holiday and the museums were very busy with families and tourists. The hotel is literally across the street from the Victoria & Albert Museum, and next to that is the Science Museum and Museum of Natural History. The closest tube station is South Kensington, turn left...

We have stayed here a few times as it is a lovely hotel. The breakfasts are good and really set you up for the day (they are self service so you can have as much or little as you please). We didn't eat in the restaurant this time but we had food in the lounge a couple of times. Definitely...

friendly staff. Very clean and has a health spa and gym. Room small but had everything we needed. Was well looked after. Hotel close to Harrods and the V &A museum also good for other attractions. Breakfast was included and had a good choice.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
