Nothing fancy but does the job for the price you're paying. Location is ideal as it's less than 5 mins to Victoria Station. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was standard - it came included in the deal we got - I wouldn't pay extra for it.

We had a ground floor family room. The beds were clean and comfortable, the bathroom spacious, but the decor very tatty. 2 out of 4 us detected a very faint smell of drains. Breakfast was an experience. A cramped room, with guests being turned away for lack of space. Staff never smiled, not once , and shouted to each other...

The location was perfect for the Victoria Underground and Railway stations. It was a quadruple room and very spacious. The shower and sink a little small. but good size bathroom. A very good nights sleep.

Stanley House is a budget hotel, in a very good location in London. The hotel is near Victoria station, the passport office, restaurants and shops. The hotel is a bit old and is not luxourious, which is absolutely ok to me. I would definitely stay there again. The only complain I have is that people in the kitchen/ dining area...

Great price for family room. But the shower was disgusting and for such a small area is not hard to clean there was mould in there and i am a housekeeper. Good for one night and if you are on a budget but could find somewhere else for the same price if not cheaper that would be cleaner. Breakfast was...

If you want to stay near all major attractions its the best. It is close to victoria Coach and train/tube station. The cons: rooms were not clean. Bed was terrible. Wifi was weak. Don't add breakfast! It very very basic and not so good. Shower is small and it takes a long time to get warm.

Room was quite adequate and all clean and tidy. Breakfast fine too.Only thing to note is there is no lift so an effort to carry suitcases up to the third floor for us,but we declined a basement room as we wanted access to fresh air. Less than 10 minute walk to the underground at Victoria. If you are not mobile...

I am very happy with the stay at Stanely House! The location is really great. The street is quite bussy but nothing too bad. Clean and cosy room and helpful and kind stuff. I can definitely recommend this hotel.

+ wonderful location near Victoria station + very quiet street + warm breakfast + cheap - the bathroom was so small that I had to leave to door open while using the toilet - hardly any pressure and water in the shower - no reading light by the bed, the only light swich next to the door

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
