Do not try to stay here as we did, thinking it was just a budget hotel. It was truly horrible. You have to pay for your stay when you check in. The bathroom is about the size of my very tiny lavette at home. There's no shampoo, only tiny bars of soap. Towels were not changed daily, no internet, cable... More

This hotel is in an amazing location, near theatres, clubs, Soho, etc. It was perfect for our quick trip to London. The rooms definitely need updating, and we had a strange windy path down to our room. But it was convenient, clean and comfortable, and I would definitely consider staying there again, mostly due to the location. No wifi.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel as we had a dinner to attend in Soho. The hotel is outdated and furniture like the bedside table was dirty, cobwebs above bed and no plug in sink! Really noisy in the basement room that was supposed to be a 'quiet' room! No drinking facilities or Wifi. We did not feel... More

My daughter and myself stayed there Saturday night (18th June) , it is in big need of redecorating and updating , we had a hole in the wall, looks like.someone had punched it! The bedding was clean, the bathroom wasn't to bad, daughter has been bitten, but for 2 of us in a Saturday it was ok, wouldnt stayed if... More

...the positives end there. My room was in the 'modern' annexe, reportedly the better part of the hotel. The common parts are terribly shabby. Dirty and noisome. I am pleased to have stayed but only so that I can recount the experience much as one would describe the sensation of being in a car accident and escaping unscathed! There was... More

Always expect nothing more than somewhere to sleep when using budget hotels. The receptionist was very pleasant, the ensuite was modern and convenient but that's where the good points end, unfortunately. The standard of cleanliness was poor and one wall socket was frustrating. The room we were given (room 1) faced the main road and, although it didn't bother me... More

The name makes this hotel to be a lot fancier than it is. I booked it because it's location was close to where I was attending a conference and it was cheaper than a lot of the other places in London. That should have been my first warning. It was very nondescript from the outside. The staff were friendly at... More

Got to give credit where it is due !! We stayed at the Gresham only last Saturday. When booking we booked hotels in a few cities based on location so didnt take much notice of our booking until right before we travelled. After looking at previous reviews of the Gresham, needless to say we were worried ! However, we emailed... More

I wish I would have never gone there after the ordeal I have to go through being infested with bedbugs / scabies causing horrific itching. I stayed there for 3 nights, Not worth the £42 per night I paid for considering the poor hygienic standards. I would not recommend to anyone to go there until they get this sorted. Would... More

Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions.
