I would like to say that I am extremely impressed with the service I received here. Upon arrival, the night manager and receptionist was greeted us most positively. Along with this, the staff ensured that all our needs where met as it was a special occasion. I very much appreciate this as the booking was made very late, and our...

From arrival through to departure doors were opened for me. Every request was greeted as an opportunity to offer personalised customer service. I don't think their team use the word no. Very refreshing. The breakfast room is one of the nicest hotel breakfast dining experiences that I remember in London. You would choose this as a breakfast destination, even if...

For our honeymoon, my wife chose London as our destination. Though I've never been - my wife had been to London about 8 years ago so she selected where we were going to stay. Location was very good. Off the major street so very quiet - though within easy walking distance to some of the major shopping streets. Unlike our...

Greeted by friendly staff on arrival, and all the staff I encountered were excellent and friendly too - somewhat unusual in my experience in London. Room was a bit small, despite being a 'superior double' Restaurant excellent too, if a bit pricey.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
