Just back from our first trip to London, stayed at the Marriott London Grosvenor Square Hotel in a room with two double beds overlooking the square. Lovely view, very restful. Wonderful staff especially Danny the concierge and Audrey from room service whose warm hospitality was a great start to the day. Delicious breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Highly recommend.

My spouse and I are just back from London. We spent five night in this hotel and we have to recognize that everything was good despite a bad experience at the Maze restaurant... We really appreciated the welcoming postcard and the service delivered by a professional and a friendly staff. The breakfast is excellent with a wide range of suggestions!...

What a wonderful trip! Over as a fam to onboard a daughter for semester abroad and chose this hotel in the heart of Mayfair. From the staff, the location and the services, we couldn't say enough. Again, perfect location...the best. Staff, including front desk, bell stand, concierge (Romeo and Adnan), front doorman, security and the Lounge (breakfast, snacks, etc) just...

Our two nights at the Marriott during New Years is exactly what my family needed. We were upgraded to a two room junior sweet overlooking Grosvenor Square, which was really more of an apartment. Plenty of space for us after a long journey. Check in was fine. Meals at the executive lounge were excellent; some of the best food I've...

We recently stayed in this hotel on a one night trip to London. It has the perfect setting right in the heart of Mayfair near the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street shops and close to the Mayfair, Hyde Park and Bond Street. The hotel itself cannot be faulted on anything in my opinion. Great sized and luxury rooms and...

Having stayed in other Marriott Hotels across the world I had great expectations of this hotel!...how wrong!!! This has to be one of the worst London hotels my family & I have ever stayed in! After requesting an early check & sorting out the car to be parked ( at an additional cost of £48 per day!) waiting to check...

Dear mrssharyn I would like to thank you for taking the time to review our hotel on TripAdvisor. We stayed at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square twice while on our Christmas vacation. The first time for 6 nights and the second for a single night. First and foremost, the staff at the hotel were fantastic from the reception desk to housekeeping and lounge staff. Special mention to Adam and Danny at the concierge desk, who were immensely helpful...

We stayed here for New year's eve. We're not huge fans of London hotels at the best if times and the Marriott didn't do anything to change our opinion. Our room could barely be called a double. Only one bedside table, cramped bathroom. The location is very good, near to Oxford street shopping. The cocktail bar was ok but also...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
