Was advised to give room 102 a miss as its noisy and was given 146. Tiny single room, smallest possible bathroom only usable by removing all detachable features and fixtures e,g, bin, spare toilet roll, toiletries, etc. A truly horrible room. If you have bags you also need ot know that you will go up 8 sets of steps and...

The big plus point of this hotel is the location. Not just because it's easy walking to all the main sights/shops/theatres but also because it backs onto Shepherd's Market (great for a wander, try Caffe In for breakfast). The big downside is the cost of the extras - £15 a day for wi-fi, £3.95 for water. Excellent reception team -...

I love the Hilton Green Park. A small stylish hotel. It's fantastically situated for all of the good sites within London. We are always made to feel very welcome by the staff. My favourite hotel in London by far

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, especially for GBP364. Ghastly ground floor room. Dark, in a well, cold, dirty, tiny, shabby - like a slightly tarted up mop closet. The pubic hair in the bath tub was a particularly nice touch for our arrival. I cancelled the rest of my stay as soon as I saw...

This hotel is in a great location very close to Green Park Tube on a nice quiet side street, the reception bar and restaurant are all nice and the rooms are pretty average but given the age of the building you can't expect modern. The staff were really professional and helpful. We have stayed in quite a few different hotels...

For a cost of nearly £300 this small double room was seriosly overpriced and not the standard that I expect from a Hilton. Whilst the room was clean and service in lobby / breakfast area attentive, the bed was not particularily comfortable and the bathroom was nothing special. Would not recommend.

Checked in at 10pm and out by 8am. Thank goodness I didn't need to stay longer. Room 129 was dark, shabby and utterly charmless. More like a room in a run down guest house in Morecambe for £20 a night rather than a Hilton in Central London for £200. Never again.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
