I stayed here for just one night. A few things were fine: staff, wide spaces and breakfast. The hotel is a four stars and was mentioned as a luxury hotel....but maybe once upon a time. The hotel and the room need to be refurbished at all.

I have been staying at the Millennium Mayfair for the last three years every time I was in London. The staff were very courteous and helpful, the room... let me tell you about the room. The first time I was there, I was given a Studio Suite. It was magnificent! The second and third time, I was given a Club...

Stayed four nights at this upscale hotel (pricey)which is located directly across from the American Embassy; nice park to sit in and relax right across the street; and walking distance to shopping, restaurants and most attractions. Room was modern and clean. Had drinks at bar one night - good. Staff was very attentive even when housekeeping took a bottle of...

My husband and I stayed for one night, we had a very comfortable room overlooking the park and were able to book a late checkout which was great. Reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again. Superb location for shopping also.

Booked a twin room for a one night stop for me and my daughter through Booking.Com at around £194 and not sure whether this prompted the hotel to put us in a room at the back of the hotel on the first floor. We were woken to the sound of bins being filled from the hotel opposite and lots of...

Stayed for one night. Grand daughter had interview at American embassy which was across the square, 5 minute walk to oxford street for great shopping. Hotel staff very friendly and welcoming. Lovely twin room with a view of the square. Expensive for a room only but it seems London hotels are quite pricey. Didn't bother with breakfast as loads of...

We were there for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in June. We had not stayed in Mayfair before, & loved it. Grosvenor Square is a great location for easy walks to Hyde Park, or shopping on Oxford St.(Selfridges), Bond, & Regent St.(Liberty & Co.). Mayfair is also an area of green squares & quaint buildings that is a super area to...

We stayed for 1 night on a Sunday in May. We had stayed before and been satisfied. This time we thought the small bedroom was looking a bit worse for wear, in need of redecorating. The net curtains were very dirty and the carpet had not been thoroughly hoovered. The bathroom was very small but compact, and the paintwork/beading in...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
