......and I booked it in February at a 40% discount for a Club double room. Only gets 2 stars because of the location, the Club lounge and Pine bar staff whose services are excellent. Reasons for such a poor review: Room not ready at the check in time and I asked could we wait in the club lounge as paid...

The only good thing about this place is the location. I was staying here for a business conference. The location is walking distance from most of the famous streets and areas of central London: Oxford Street, Bond Street, Picadilly, Liecester square, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Big Ben etc. The hotel has purely basic facilities but not even a kettle in...

I was booked here by some collegues at the American Embassy which is less than a block away from this hotel. They booked other guests at the Marriott, but I committed to going too late to get into the "good" hotel so I had to accept proximity over quality. The hotel is just a few blocks from Hyde Park and...

I had afternoon tea here today on a great 2 for 1 deal with afternoontea.co.uk. Everything was superb - the tea, the pretty wedgewood china, the delicious food and the excellent and attentive service, I highly recommend this hotel for afternoon tea and if you get a deal it is a bargain!

Great location with walking distance to Oxford street. Friendly staff. The room was a bit outdated but clean and the bed was ok. We upgraded to a business room, larger rooms and access to the lounge. At the lounge they served afternoon tea and in the evening snacks and hot meals was served, all included. From a London hotel standard...

Long story written below: to summarize it first I do not recommend a stay at this hotel at any cost! So let me start with the story of how I had to stay at the Millenium Hotel: My brother booked 2 rooms each for 1 week, a minute after he booked he realized it was non-refundable so he called the...

I visited here on a holiday in October'2012. The hotel is very conveniently located. It is walking distance from Selfridges and next to the bond street tube station. The rooms are big and nice and the service is very good. Although there are a lot of places to eat near by the bar and restaurant in the hotel is also...

I visited here on a business trip in September. The service is mediocre if not poor. The service should be far better given the price. Facilities are so so and need updating. Gym is not well equipped and is not open 24 hours. The food is good as are the restaurants. The location is very good.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
