I've been a few times at the Millennium Mayfair during my frequent trips to London and I believe it's great value for money. This time i was with my husband of a three days xmas shopping trip. Rooms can be a little old fashioned and need some updating but overall position and service make up for it. Staff is really...

The hotel is quite a tired looking place once you get past the immaculate reception area. The curtains in my room looked as though they had seen better days and smelt quite musty. The en suite was clean and bright but the bath was too small for me. We had a conference at the hotel and can say that probably...

The hotel is on Grosvenor Square, which we found lovely and quiet. It's really handy for a couple of tube stations and just a 5 minute walk from Oxford Street. All our rooms were a good size and very comfortable. Bathroom was great with a powerful shower. The hotel looked good - plenty of marble in the foyer, lots of...

We were at Millennium Mayfair during the WTM expo. We chose this hotel based on its location and the brand recognition. Location is trully excellent. Right on the grosvenor square and 5 minutes walk from oxford street and bond street tube station. However the hotel itself was disappointing. Rooms, are just too dated and a renovation is overdue. Beds were...

I've stayed here on several trips to london. The service is always excellent. The rooms and hotels appears a little tired now however, the location and convenience of parking always do it for me. It's a few minutes walk from bond street, oxford street and the tube. There also some great restaurants nearby.

The hotel entrance, lobby & main bar are very nice and create a great initial impression. Unfortunately once your outside of those areas this hotel is tired, old & run of the mill. If you just need somewhere to stay it does the job but there is nothing special about it which is a shame considering the location. Where it...

We met our friend who was staying here for a drink on Friday night. We arrived around 8:15 & entered the main bar which was shocking. It was full of a mixture of drunk city types & out of towners leching & lurching. We felt sorry for a couple of sophisticated ladies in the corner looking dumbfounded watching this circus....

I'm a frequent traveller across the world and stay in London hotels frequently, however, I had a most extraordinary experience at this hotel that wouldn't have happened in the worst places I stay... which include the DR Congo! My company had prepaid the hotel and when arriving late I decided to have a drink in the bar; I had two...

Me and my fiance went for afternoon tea here and LOVED it. We have been for afternoon tea in many places but this was by far the best. Firstly, the staff were EXCEPTIONAL. They were so friendly, helpful and chatty. They made us feel very welcome and at ease. The china was beautiful, the tablecloths and cutlery etc were immaculate....

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
