Excellent connection point for a city-break in London - nearby South Ken tube station to Heathrow and all major points in Central London - good bedrooms and bathrooms, good breakfast, italian style management, very kind personnel - clean and well decorated hotel, good value for money

I've stayed two or three times at the Pelham and it's my hotel of choice for London. The staff has been kind and considerate and my rooms have always been lovely. Last time there, I sat in the lounge and was about to order a glass of wine when the wait staff remembered I liked rose...and brought it on her...

Small but perfectly formed a step away from the underground and near to the museums. Good selection of eateries if you want to stay close but would recommend travelling a bit further to get something different. Decor very like the Firmdale - quirky but totally in unison with each item of furniture etc. Rooms are comfortable beautifully decorated with all...

We received exceptional service at the Pelham hotel during our stay. I'd like to particularly call out the front desk manager and concierge, as they went above and beyond their normal call of duty (especially when we forgot a passport in the room!). We stayed 4 nights with two other couples and loved using the parlor rooms as meeting areas...

This was the third time I have stayed at the Pelham which is rated as a 5 star hotel. I had quite pleasant stays previously so I was disappointed this time not to receive the same good service. On check in the receptionist was unfriendly and didn't offer a welcome to the hotel and she was the same on check...

Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean, stocked with all that was needed. Room overlooked street, but was very quiet. Room was located next to the lift but there was no noise at night. in a great location next to tube and near the museums. Nearby eateries to cater to all tastes.

I have stayed all over London in some of the nicest hotels in the city. I am partial to small, high-end boutique hotels (hate large chains and big hotels) and The Pelham is my new favorite. In this particular case I was looking for something more affordable because I was there on business and the client is a nonprofit organization....

Classy hotel, very comfortable and clean. Friendly service, great location. Room was also quiet, with no noise from neighbouring rooms. Wish all hotels were like that. Pretty much ticks all the boxes and will recommend it to friends and family. Shame we couldn't stay longer!

Very friendly Hotel, with nice rooms and perfect Employee. Great Location near by Underground, bus station. Rooms a Little bit to small, but Lovingly furnished. The breakfast was not so good. For two persons 50 pounds. And Definitely too little choice.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
