Yuk. Check out the toilet. If that's not bad enough, look at the refrigerator before putting your food in. You will throw up. Room size is reasonable for this part of the city. Lobby is welcoming, breakfast is very good.

My second visit to this hotel on the way into/out of London. Clean comfortable room (not large but comfortable by London standards). Lobby area restaurant serviceable for breakfast and coffee. In hotel Irish Pub a nice spot to watch sports and have a cold pint and a great hamburger! Front desk staff efficient and friendly. Concierge very friendly and knowledgeable...

This is a very good hotel very well located with excellent value for money. The breakfast is superb and there is a very good pub type restaurant, The Tavern, in the building. This restaurant has a very good selection of beers and the food is of high quality.

- Better inside than outside, even though the common areas on the floors need a refreshment - Executive room in good condition and clean, very comfortable bed/mattress, newly renovated but style is still bit old-fashioned (reminded me of hotel rooms in the 90s) - Nice business lounge - Friendly staff but not really acting in customers' interest - Nice buffet...

With a short 1-block walk to the Tube Station, this hotel provided us a great location as our home base for a London vacation. I expected that the rooms would be smaller than what Americans are accustomed to, and the rooms may not have the same amenities. However, the hallways were quiet, the rooms clean and well tended to, and...

I did not enjoy the food there was not a lot of variety definately not worth £39. They was 17 of us altogether and we were not seated unable on the same table. There was too much people in the room and not enough space to move around. I attend the caribbean night 5 years earlier and the food was...

Trustworthy standard for 2-3 night stay, excellent location close to Tube, supermarkets, restaurants and Harrods. Friendly service from staff. Buffet breakfast is five star standard, other food was untried but plenty of variety. Parking facilities but at £36 per day, public transport is preferable.

The new mattresses are AWFUL! I've never "slept" (I use that loosely as I didn't sleep) on a mattress so hard. Firm? No, HARD. Have stayed at the Holiday Inn at LHR and the rooms and beds are great. The Forum should use have used the same bed and pillow supplier. But instead they choose beds as hard as a...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
