Good breakfast and selection of conjoined restaurants and bars, even a casino ! Standard Rooms are abit too small Parking is advertised but doesn't mention about the cost! You get it stamped at main desk but that only makes the first24hr half price. However after that it was full price ! We parked for up 27 hrs and it cost...

I stayed for 3 nights with my mum for my birthday at the beginning of February. About a week before our trip my mum got an email telling us about the work being done in reception, we were still surprised though by the fact that the reception looked and sounded like a building site!! The room was dated but that...

I have stayed before and I can not believe how much the hotel has deteriorated. Poor welcome at reception. The smell of damp as I approached my room was a sign of things to come . The most uncomfortable bed I have slept in for a very long time. The room was dirty a discarded sock just under the bed...

This was our second visit to the St Giles which is perfectly situated for Theatre Land and reasonably priced. We booked a double room but were given a triple which meant we had plenty of room for our bags and to get dressed. Rooms have adequate tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer and a safe. Bathroom was clean albeit a little...

Ok fair enough they are refurbishing the lobby so you can deal with the unsightly mess and open walls and ceilings but the quality of the rooms is just so sub standard it's not real, the beds are harder than the floor and the quality of the room feels like I've just gone back to the 80's. Yes it is...

We have stayed in this hotel a few times now and have always been happy with it. However this time was an experience. On arrival we were checking in and I was told my booking hadn't been paid for. I had an email confirming payment which I showed but still had to pay again! Good start. Later on in the...

This hotel was booked as a package with theatre tickets. It was only on arrival we found out about the renovation work going on in the public areas which wasn't a good first impression. Our room wasn't as shown on the website, it was small with only blinds at the small window. The building opposite had bright lights on throughout...

Clean, friendly, good breakfast all for £65 pppn, which made it cheaper than other rivals in the city. Perfect location too; didn't need to use the tube at all as Euston only 20 mins walk away and hotel situated side on to Tottenham Court Rd nr junction with Oxford St; consequently Covent Garden and theatre land all within 20 mins...

Second time i have stayed at the st giles and can't fault it. Great location for shopping and theatres. Clean well equipped rooms. Reception refurbishment going on but didn't cause any problems. Looking forward to coming back later in the year to see the changes.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
