The hotel is very centrally located, and both theaters and lots of tourist sites (British Museum, Trafalgar Square ...) are within walking distance. At the moment the entrance is being refurbished, which may make it a bit stressy for the staff; there's a helpful person trying to direct you to a receptionist who's available, but the receptionists are quite "cool"...

Having been told about renovations, we were sceptical about our stay at the hotel. However despite the minor disruptions the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The consierge was truly the most helpful person I've met. The room was nice, with great views of London and a small Lounge area. The beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean and modern...

Stayed here for one night. Good location but room small and noisy with oxford street being close by. Bed was really uncomfortable too. Good basic hotel which was really busy. Didn't eat here so not sure on the quality. If you want a central location than this hotel is good for that. Don't know if I would come back here...

I have stayed in this hotel twice and am actually booked in again to go in February 2017. The location is perfect for shopping and transport. Tottenham Court Road is buzzing with wonderful shops and restaurants. The hotel is full of lovely staff, very friendly. The standard rooms arent enormous but they are equipped with everything needed and they are...

Stayed on the first floor in the east side annex, some sort of massive humidity problem in the corridor with a terrible smell due to it, it partly carried over to the room. No existing ventilation & a very spartan room in general. All of it weighed up by its great location & a very affordable price. The staff was...

Well, the wife and myself decided to return to the St Giles for our Birthdays. Once again, everything was perfect. There was some building work going on in the reception area but was no inconvenience to anyone. Was upgraded to executive room which was lovely. Breakfast was again super and we dined one night in the VQ restaurant which is...

This hotel has a fab location, room was good, has a nice bar, staff were great apart from a huge breakdown in communications between the receptionist and the concierge which was close to wrecking our arranged evening !!!! I asked reception if I could book a taxi for an hour later she politely said no need sir as the concierge...

Average London hotel. Ok room for London (they are on the small side, to be nice). Found it really weird that you buy a wifi code in the snacksmachine in corridor. Cash-based portier-service with handwritten "receipts" - what is that? Portier worked rather hard to discourage us from ordering a taxi to airport, while colleague could do it "cheaper". Odd....

This is a hotel with a great location. All the shops are nearby. The rooms are average and there's carpet on the floor. The room wasn't noisy. The breakfast is very good. All that you want was available.

The hotel is located 50 meters from Oxford Street and the Metro station. Fantastic location. The hotel served a rich English breakfast. The rooms and bathrooms clean. Staff are professional and courteous. Internet at the lobby for a fee. The price is not cheap but it is recommended.

Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
