I took my mum to London for a treat and decided to book a nice hotel for us to stay in. when we got to our room it was very cold but we thought once we put the heating on it would warm up. When we got back from our day out, the room was still freezing, so cold that we had to sit with our coats and hats on. We rang reception and they said they would bring us a portable heater because the heating was broke. We waited an hour and no heater had been delivered. I then went down to reception and they said they were working on finding us a heater and it would be delivered soon. We wanted to go out for food but instead we were sat waiting in a freezing room for a heater to be delivered. Another hour and a half later we still didn’t have a heater. It was so cold we decided to sit in the corridor outside our room where it was warmer. after 3 hours of waiting we told reception we were going out for food and we want the situation sorted by the time we’re back. We returned after an hour and there was a tiny Luke warm heater in our room which did absolutely nothing. It was 10pm and our room was still freezing. I went to reception again, and after complaining 4 times and 5 hours since our first complaint we were finally moved rooms. But it ruined our whole night. We wanted to go out for the whole evening but instead we were sat around waiting for a rubbish Heater that did nothing. The way we were treated was awful. The next morning before we checked out, I told reception that I will be making a complaint because I paid a lot of money and our experience was awful. I was told that I would be contacted by someone that day about receiving compensation because the hotel agreed that we shouldn’t have gone through what we went through. I had an email from the hotel receptionist which offered me a free upgraded view if I paid to stay at the hotel again, when I responded and explained I don’t think that is enough to make up for what should have been a special weekend, I was IGNORED. I sent a further email asking for a response and I was IGNORED AGAIN. The service you have given is shocking. And I am so upset that I planned a nice weekend away for my mum and it was ruined. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone based of the way we were treated and how I was ignored when I made a complaint.

Me and my two friends had a lovely stay at this hotel. We had a family room setup, so a double room (with bathroom) with an adjoining twin room, which was perfect for us. We had amazing view ofTowerBridge. The rooms were a pleasant temperature and we were pleased to be able to open the windows for natural ventilation. Pillows, and beds were all very comfortable and the rooms were super clean. Breakfast was great, only short queues at peak times. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location for central London - South Bank,Borough Market, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, Shoreditch, Spitalfields, were all within walking distance for us. Overall a lovely stay.

Stayed at The Tower for a 2 night theatre break. Great location for the Tower of London, Tower Bridge etc and easy access to the Tube and Uber River Bus. Good breakfast with friendly staff. Check in process was good despite being very busy, tried to sell an upgrade to a better room. Main let down was the room, very dated and worn furniture (other than the mattress which was very comfy), dated bathroom that hasn't been upgraded since being built. Main issue was the water supply in the bathroom- couldn't have a shower as the water temp fluctuated so much, tried to run a bath and ended with a pond of brown water and a layer of sediment in the bath.

I booked a surprise stay at The Tower Hotel for our wedding anniversary - first time ever, and would love to do so again. We were taken care of so well from the moment we arrived till we left. The Reception team were attentive, helpful and made you feel so well taken care of and welcomed, we received a surprise treat in the room that was so very thoughtful and a beautiful start to our stay. They helped out with my rushed surprise decorations for hubby, helped us find a cosy place to have our meal in the evening looking out across the river, the room was beautiful and what an amazing view. Up until the very last moments when we had to leave, all staff we spoke to were so caring, friendly and attentive, we felt so well looked after and are forever thankful for such an amazing family and team making a memorable stay for us both. Many many thanks to all.

Stayed here for one night and WILL NOT be coming back. The room was freezing, it took the Hotel an hour and a half to bring up a heater which wouldn't have been able to heat up the bathroom yet alone the main bedroom and bathroom. I asked for an iron, they sent one up which had failed its PAT test. Eventually was allocated a new room which wasn't that much warmer. Breakfast was cold and over cooked. I am very disappointed and fo not recommend this hotel.
