I have now stayed at this hotel several times while in London for business. The rooms are wonderful and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. Most now recognize me as I check in which is nice. Breakfast is one of the nicer ones I have had at a Double Tree. Location is perfect, with lots of shopping and terrific...

Staff was loud in hallways at night and rood in the morning. You can hear every sound around you. Sound from TV plays through bathroom speaker and you can't turn it off. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

The location of this hotel is nice, but thats about it. The staff (other than the black concierge) are extremely rude. The rooms are bad. You can hear everything between the walls. We were placed right outside of early lorning constuction and woke up every morning at 730 to workers cutting metal and telling. Not a pleasant vacation while trying...

My wife and I booked a one night stay at this hotel, thank god it was only for one night. No one around to greet you or help with your bags. You get a hot biscuit at check-in. Reception is friendly but standard. Our room was on the fourth floor and on entering it smelt a little musty, although not...

The Hotel is in central location. Front desk people are very helpful and welcoming. The lightnings in our room however was a bit dim. I prefer to have bright lights in the rooms, the bathroom is too small as well.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
