My wife, daughter and I had a pleasant stay here for three nights in February. Our room was nice and clean, and worked very well for us. Though we must admit it was a bit difficult to pass the sofa bed when it was folded out. As stated by others, location is excellent – in a quiet street, close to...

This is a reasonable and affordable place to stay in central London. They only do breakfast which was quite good- the staff were not bad but no one was particularly friendly or stood out. I cant get enthusiastic but recommend it for its location and reasonable price

I booked The Blandford for my 62 year old mother and her best friend, but managed to spend a lot of time hanging around reception waiting for them, so I got a good feel for the place. Rooms were perfect, clean and very quiet (despite its 2 minute walk from Baker Street tube). Breakfast was excellent... and that's coming from...

This is a good hotel for getting out & about from in London as stated by others. Having booked a twin room we were given the triple bed room which meant movement around the beds was really difficult. Beds & bedding clean as were rooms generally. Room 6 is above the kitchen so expect those early morning smells and next...

This hotel is a warm, cosy place and is in a fantastic location. It's right next to Baker Street station, so getting around London is really easy. It's also a five minute walk from Tussaud's. This is a small, independent hotel. It is in a central location a short stroll from Baker Street tube station, but down a quiet side street, so no constant traffic noise immediately outside. Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.

“I requested a room with a desk so that I could work. Although the room was a small double the desk was very close to the bed, which made it a little awkward getting from the wardrobe to the bathroom without pushing the chair in fully, but it suited my purposes. The shower was great and the room was clean and had all the amenities for making tea and coffee so no complaints. ”
