We stayed in a junior suite a few weeks ago and found it to be very nice. The location is fantastic, only about 2 blocks' from the Bond Street tube station and Oxford Street shopping district. Also only about a 10 minute walk to Oxford Circus, Regent Street and Soho. A few nice cafe's to have breakfast down the road...

First, as others have commented, the location is fantastic. The hotel is close to shops, restaurants, and the lovely Wallace collection (breakfast in the courtyard restaurant there highly recommended) yet away from the hustle and bustle of London. After a day of sightseeing, it was lovely to come back to such a calm and inviting place. The staff was superb--especially...

The rooms are not very big but it's enough for a weekend. The beds are comfortable and they serve a continental or english breakfast. The continental is ok and you can find fruit, yoghurt, bread, ham, cheese, egg. The location is perfect. The negative thing is that the bathroom door is only a glass door which I do not like...

I feel guests should be notifies of any building works which would affect the stay.Which was not so in my case. However the general quality of the hotel and service are reflected in my previous comments and I would recomend the hotel as being a good representation of what is offered

Location is very convenient , just off Oxford Street , easy walk to the tube. Good breakfast , cold meats , smoked fish and fresh roles. Rooms are definitely on the small / basic side . Ate in the restaurant one night but think I would have been better off venturing outside

Looks amazing on the outside but a big lack of luxury inside the small rooms. Plus no tea making facilities, only a nespresso machine which is fine if your a coffee lover. Generally very disappointed and not recommended. A holiday inn is more fitting and spacious! Was looking for luxury night but sadly got a box room with an uncomfortable...

Staying at the Mandeville is always pleasant. The location is getting better and better, with Marylebone getting populated by many hip stores, bars and restaurants, not to mention the nicest bookstore.... Staff is helpful and the rooms are very nice. I always stay there, when in London.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
