The hotel is very near from Victoria Coach Station. Very convenient if your traveling early in the morning or late at nigth. Safe neighborhood. Value for the money. The hotel is outdated, rooms are small but clean. The breakfast is simple, coffee, bread, some cereals and juices. It's included in the price.

This hotel is the grimmest I've stayed in No hairdryer, no tea, no iron Tread bear carpets... Only positive was clean towels... Mould all over bathroom... Awful! It was worse than student accommodation Totally fleeced cost wise Don't book there!

Location is just around the corner from Victoria Coach Station, incredibly convenient for transport around London. Bed was comfy however decor was a little outdated and tired looking. Linen and bathroom were clean however some furnishings were dusty. Breakfast was nothing spectacular, but included in the cost so nothing to complain about.

This is a mid-range hotel. The rooms are small and out-dated. Much needed renovations. The beds were uncomfortable. The bathroom has had a leak. Tiles were taped and the floor tiles were dirty. The breakfast area staff were not friendly

We found The New England Hotel to be easy to find. We found walking to and from Victoria Station (a 5 min walk) to be very safe (day or night). The hotel was very clean and looked to be newly decorated yet managed to reserve that old "English" ambiance. It was my home away from home. We did tours out...

Honestly the worst hotel I have stayed at during my trip to Great Britain and possibly ever. Room was minuscule and not well maintained. It was depressing being there. Luckily there is so much to do in London that I would return to my room only to sleep. All of the staff that I spoke with were very pleasant but...

Tiny twin room which was dirty and dusty and the shower room in a cupboard! The only thing good was the comfortable bed and clean towels. Radiator in the shower room was rusty and peeling paint. Carpets stained. Dust everywhere. Walls tired and dirty. Breakfast ok but surly waiter! Will not be returning.

We booked this hotel because it wasn't very expensive and was located near a major tube stop. The room was barely big enough for my husband and I to fit, let alone with our two large suitcases, this made the room very very cramped. The bed was ok, but very cheap. The bathroom needed work, the toilet wouldn't always flush...

Very poorly kept! Dirty, shabby, pealing paint, We requested a double bed and ended up with twins. The Windows would not lock, the carpets were stained, the lighting was horrible. Very disappointing. Although, the clerk let us out of this agreement provided we spend one night. We had booked it for four nights.

Overall, this hotel was decent and cheap for a place to stay in London. A very convenient location close by the Victoria Station and the staff was very friendly and helpful which was great. However, the rooms are a bit small (but not terrible), you have to pay for wifi (only 5€ though for unlimited), our tv didn't work, our...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
